i cringed at the name when i saw it... and now that i know the pronunciation is "try be" i'm still kinda cringing though it's less terrible than my brain originally saw. ๐Ÿ˜‚

hyunbin is really pretty. kelly and jia have some serious baby faces.

that name has serious potential for bad things, hope they steer clear. also the way it's pronounced "tribey" lmao.

the girls have really unique looks and i hope they don't get hate for it because i love it! i'm considering them exid's little sisters so i hope their discog will be just as great.

Iโ€™ll have to check out the videos later! Anyone know their ages? I saw one member is a 97-liner which is pretty cool, meaning sheโ€™s 23. But some of these girls look quite young so Iโ€™m guessing sheโ€™s the oldest member?

Ok apparently someone is 14 based on the comments? :/ Thatโ€™s too big of an age gap too if Iโ€™m reading these correctly

In one of the dance videos based on a comment, it sounds like majority of this group is teens. :( like Songsun is 23 based on that one tweet I saw but most of this group is between 14-18...idk if thatโ€™s the case I wonโ€™t get too invested in this group at this time

Iโ€™m already too old for Kpop, Iโ€™m well aware lol but I try to not get too into groups with a lot of young teens that range from middle school to sophomore year. I think thatโ€™s why my favorite groups to debut last year had majority of all their members 18 and older.

I have the same feeling, am too old for a lot of kpop and can't get into new groups because they're SO young.

Iโ€™ve accepted that if I want to keep listening to new artists, most will be younger than me since music scene favors the young lol. But yea when I mean young I mean 18 and older lol. I can tolerate younger but only if theyโ€™re the maknae and most of the group is age appropriate (for example Itzy) But when multiple members are 2004-2005 which are high school ages :/

I can still listen to new music but I can see Iโ€™m at the point of not getting attached if theyโ€™re too young. StayC is another example of that, Iโ€™m loving their music a lot so far but I feel like the two members talked about the most are both only 16, one just turned 16 too.

But thatโ€™s why I gravitate to more solo artists and indie now since theyโ€™re closer to my age. A user said Kpop is the equivalent to Disney Channel Stars and I do see it now that Iโ€™m older, especially since so many idols are so young. If it reflected the pop scene in the US these idols would be older, but it goes back to the idea that girl and boy groups are for kids not adults.

Yeah, absolutely same here. Most groups/artists I'm really into have been around for a long(er) time, apart from singers like BiBi who I loooove but is more indie than kpop. I already feel awkard with groups where everyone is in their early twenties, let alone teenagers! And sometimes I can ~appreciate their songs, but I can't get properly into them, if that makes sense? I wish it was more normal for older (twenties, even early thirties!) singers to debut.

If you have to make up ridiculous bullshit reasons for your low key offensive name, maybe donโ€™t use the name.
