Up to now, I still don't know what and how to feel about this. Obviously, sad and also disappointed but after that I don't know if I want Ilhoon to continue with BTOB or not. Am I to think of what is good for BTOB's image or for the members? I want to hear what the other 6 members thinks about this but I dont want to force them to say something or comment about this. It might just seem forced or a "scripted" opinion.

Middle of this year, I was sad to send 3 members to enlist but knowing that they will all be done with their service for their 10th year anniversary, it made it less sad. Now...we'll only have 6 members.

About the jail issue, for what I remember of the E sens case, it's really hard for someone in SK to actually go to jail for a first offence. Like you could get a jail sentence but it gets reduced. If there's a second offence then you'll likely have actual jail time. But the case of E sens was just for consumption, tho he was acussed of giving marihuana to other people I think it wasn't proved

I'm still really bummed but knew this was probably coming. Based on the language of him withdrawing and not Cube ending their relationship with a contract termination, I feel like they may be leaving the door open for the possibility of him continuing on as a producer should he not face legal consequences after military service.

I'm too old to be stan delusional now but I do think they could pull off a Sechkies or H.O.T.-like reunion in the distant future if attitudes or laws toward drugs change.

honestly, this isn't a surprise with how they're trying to salvage the group but this is really sad. I know of BTOB in passing and I loved the camaraderie of the group - they seemed to be a blast to be around and were so talented vocally. and ever since I heard about how the members all enlisted to be able to reunite in time for their 10th anniversary comeback, I was rooting for them. :(

Thanks for this. It’s one thing about having stricter punishment for this as compared to other harsher crimes, and should be called out. But drug tolerance has a different nuance culturally and it’s very hard to tease apart the issues of drug taking/dealing

I can’t with anyone having sympathy for someone who jeopardized his own career and that of his “brothers’” for a hit.
