On the first post, I think I talked some people into watching this? That's cool but I'm also not sure if I want to responsibility since I don't think this'll end well. At all lol.

Jugyeong is an angel and I will fight for her. To see how much she's harassed on a daily basis by everyone from her mom (shut UP already) to random assholes on the street..... She deserves to be protected and I'm glad Suho is doing that. They are definitely my favoured pairing on this show.

That said - the amount I am suffering because of Hwang Inyeop?????? I was having tunnel vision over him in episode three. This guy is older than I am, his agency needs to hook him up with something other than a high school drama for his next project!

Jungyeong is so cute. When she cried in front of Suho in ep 3 I liked how he was there for her. And it seemed that she could be honest to him. However I find it weird how he followed her in ep 4. I hope he can confess his feelings before becoming a stalker.

He is SUPER soft and genuine with her in the webtoon. They just hit it off so naturally - I keep repeating this, but I love that so much between them! He's definitely no stalker in the original so I agree, hopefully they'll keep that to a minimum.

The scene transitions in episode gave me whiplash. I know they did that for impact, but I don't think it worked. I was like wait, how did he know they were going to the movie theater? Wasn't he JUST taking his math exam?? And how did Seo Jun know she was going on a blind date? Episode 4 had too many holes.

He's older than me, I can hardly believe it too! He's still very much a rookie though, he's only been active for about two years I think? So for now I'll forgive his agency for hooking him up with these roles. In the future he definitely needs more grown roles, I think he'd work something really violent and bloody too.

I'm only casually watching for Moon Ga-young. The majority of the characters needs their mouth tapped shut because they pick on the main character for not having clear skin. The mom seriously need to be told off with constantly lowering her daughter's self esteem.

even though i knew it would be cringy i still ended up watching it for my queen moon gayoung. she deserves better than this exo next door level drama but guess capitalism won bc here i am nonetheless lmao.

i do think the drama explores some societal issues and it's a good critique of the pressure women are under, so on that regard i like it so far. seeing her own family treating her like shit is too cruel tho, like is being bullied at school not enough that you also have to have her own family insulting her? nah fuck all of them, only the sister can stay.

i'm a lil tired of the rich asshole male lead trope but suho is very sweet to her and i'm glad he figured it out so early on and made it his mission to protect her. eunwoo is very pretty to look at and damn he has some thighs so it's nothing but winning when he's on screen.

not feeling seojun for now. like i get it, he's the bad boy iwth a heart of gold but i don't like how he only approached jukyung bc suho likes her. i'm probably not gonna like how this love triangle will end bc it will never be the poly relationship i want so i'm not looking forward to the mess.

i'm curious about soojin, she's effortlessly cool and a great friend to jukyung so far but i think it's obvious she likes suho, so they better not make her a bitch or i will rage.

I started watching this for eunwoo but moon gayoung is adorable (also yoona pls)! I feel like it's kinda rushed because my boy suho already had feelings for jugyeong in ep2! if he doesn't wake up and be honest w his feelings! seojun's gangster wannabe ass is already making moves (not necessarily because he likes but because he wanna piss suho off smh).

I haven't read the webtoon but I wonder if they'll change the story considering suho disappears at some point and seojun is pm the male lead and gets the girl.

i really love moon ga young so i want to check it out but plot doesn't sound.... great.
i was going to add "eunwoo's terrible acting scarred me in extraordinary you so one more reason to skip" but after quick google search i realized that it wasn't him. too many idols in dramas lol. maybe i will give it a try!

I haven't seen any of Eunwoo's acting before this drama but I feel like he isn't that terrible? What I'm disliking here is that he's just blank faced tsundere 98% of the time. His character is that up to a point, but it feels unnecessary in certain scenes. When he drops that and shows some emotion he's actually fine

i'm really enjoying this drama lol! i think seeing kim hyeyoon and lee jaewook reprising their roles and hearing the flip of the manhwa book from extraordinary you helped me to view this in the same 'universe' of the director and not expect too much realism - rather, i'm not seeing jugyeong and everyone as cartoon characters who are not aware and that helps

moon gayoung plays jugyeong so endearingly naive and precious and nice, i looooove her, which i didn't expect! she needs to be protected. i like how the show is showing the downsides of being considered unattractive and attractive and the lasting consequences the bullying at school and at home still has for jugyeong. jugyeongs mom needs to be nicer to her or i will fight

han seojoon is terribly handsome and i am obsessed with him (rather, the actor, wowow), but as a character i don't like that he's engaging with jugyeong just because he wants to mess with suho. he does have some himbo potential (i like that he's not that smart) but he should be nicer. if he ends up with jugyeong i'm going to be pretty disappointed in the writer, because it's cute how suho x jugyeong have similar interests (although him going after her in ep 4 gave me some joe in you vibes).
i'm hoping to learn more about soojin, looks like her family is pressuring her a lot (and i think she should end up with him because she would be able to keep him in check).

i am really looking forward to the love line between the teacher and jugyeongs sister, i like that they kind of turned around the trope and made her the cool, handsome one and him the soft, kind one

damn why am i so invested in these love lines!!

The scene where Soojin can't stop washing her hands was kind of scary. I don't know who was having diner with her family but it made me wonder if that guy harassed her. It was strange how her face expression changed and she wanted her hands to be clean. I hope it's just my imagination.

In the webtoon, Soojin has a really interesting backstory (a abusive/problematic household) but they never explore that :( I would love for that to be explored in the drama.

Or maybe they'll twist it so that Suho = composer, Seyeon = lyricist, song was made by them for their vocal god friend Seojoon? That would be cute. Yeah, the baby voice from Ju Kyung (I noticed it's mostly when she has no make up on -- like when she's talking to Suho in the manga place) is a no. It's makes her seem like she's 14.
