goodness i love his voice so much! i feel like in this song, at times it's processed a little too much? which imo his voice doesn't need at all :o that said, i'm really liking this song!!! love how he does something different with every coomeback/album!
yeah I did think his voice sounds a little overprocessed at times but it actually brings a certain edge to the song so I'm not mad!! He sounds amazing anywhere else! The mini is fantastic!!
Aaaah he's aging like fine wine!! He looks and sounds incredible. And the song is great! Like I said in a comment above, I don't mind the slight distorsion to his voice in "I'm Cold" because it accentuates the melancholic/broken vibe of the song.
Now the mini, it's fantastic! The only bad thing about it is that it's a mini. I would have loved a full album of this kind of sound and atmosphere. I'm probably not the most objective person on earth when it comes to Sunggyu but every track is honestly so good?? Please people of omona, give it a chance!! His voice is so!!! (his perfect vibrato in Room!??)! The production is gorgeous! And his emotions feel so raw all the time!!!
Fade is my favourite right now but this is definitely a no-skip album for me.

He's one of my all time favorites. I've already ordered his album and downloaded it off iTunes. I can not say enough about his amazing vocals. I can't even pick a favorite song off the album. Love him.
The song is so nice, i love that it has a chorus and not just an electronic drop, especially cause the chorus vocal melody is so good! I've been listening to the mini album all day, and i really like it!
Although i am kind of missing the sound that the singer of NELL produced for him. I'm kind of curious why he didn't make any songs for this release, cause he composed like almost all of sungkyus music? I'm happy this sound is still very consistent to his past sound though!
He apparently said that he did discuss making this new album with Nell's Kim Jonghwan but also wanted to try working with other artists, since he's been in the industry for over 10 years now.
Tbh, I'm really conflicted. I love the music he did with Nell but sunggyu recently did a voice only live and mentioned casually (and that's probably what makes it worse) that Kim Jongwhan basically told him in the past that people don't like sunggyu's music because of his looks and I'm like??? First of all, rude. Second, sunggyu's songs are made by you and you're saying the songs are not successful because of his looks??
omg wait WHAT THE HELL??? K thats rude, and reading the tweet i almost feel like its mistranslated. Based on the sentence structure i'd assume he may have actually said "ppl probably don't NOT like your music because of (just) your looks, but you should lose weight as a singer (anyways) as that the proper manner to your fans." I tried to find the video this was from to hear it myself, but i think it was a video for vlive+ so... i can't reconfirm his wording... also its sad that sungkyu doesn't seem offended, but i kind of get it knowing the culture there... dieting/perfecting your looks is considered a legitimate way of giving back to people... its sad but... sigh

Also, korea does not care about the looks of singers who release music like nells, or sungkyus. Looks can make you more successful if youre in a new idol group, but do you see kai's song doing well despite him being good looking? no, cause your face can't get you a hit alone, but a good song can.
Sorry, i love sungkyus music, and im not even or never was an infinite stan, his music is just objectively really good cause he has good taste and good sense. i'm kinda just mad for him if this guy he looks up to is really saying discouraging shit like this to him
