That makes so much more special to me, that Miihi is going through so much right now but her group members are supporting her and to include that in the MV is really sweet. I think this was a way for Miihi to feel included because her absence in the choreo shows she’s really not feeling well if she couldn’t participate (....JYPE should’ve delayed the debut but that’s another story...)

I’ve been reading the stress from school and going between Japan and Korea is really putting in her a bad place, the rest I’ll put under a spoiler since it might be tw she’s lost a lot of weight and is feeling super weak? I can tell in the video her face is looking a little more gaunt than the youthful face I saw on the show
This poor girl is only 16. She’s going through a lot right now to get her Dream started, but this is why I wish young teens weren’t members in kpop. She should be in school, and then continue on her artist career when she graduates. She can sing and dance, she can easily do that at 18....but nooooo the younger the better and now she’s really struggling with so much expectations being placed on her :(((
I want to say it's what they're used to in the Japanese market. The nasally cutesy is pretty common in their pop scene and there have been groups who sang outside of their nasal passages but they weren't really popular because their sound and concepts weren't...marketable in the Japanese market :( RIP BRIGHT
I will not lie, growing up listening to jpop and anime music has me accustomed to that nasally sound. It’s very frequently used lol. It’s not my favorite but I have a much higher tolerance for it I may not would have if I didn’t grow up on it.
Omg this was super cute. I can see how they're Twice's little sister group, or even for the song to go to Twice around Candy Pop for example (btw judge me, I still enjoy Candy Pop a lot LOL) but it's a better fit with NiziU! It's very sweet and age appropriate Some of the vocals are a bit too nasally for me, but I always kinda expect it for jpop? And it's mixed correctly so it's fine by me. I'm enjoying this debut! The lyrics are sweet and I love the way they added the member currently on health hiatus (much better than making Jeongyeon dance ICSM with pain lasting from a neck injury...)

Rima and Mayuka are really shaping up to be a really good idol rapping duo, they compliment each other well. The choreo was very cute.
I really hope Miihi is getting the treatment she needs and that she doesn't feel pressured to rush her return to the group.

This is so cute!!! I knew it would be cute but I was expecting a song about a crush, not singing about finding strength in a hard situation! I do see this message in more of JYP’s Japanese releases (like Twice’s &Twice album had this message about not to give up in a few songs) so I’m glad they’re continuing it! It’s basically ‘believe in yourself’ in a less try hard way than Itzy (sorry Itzy 😅 I still have love for them but it is cocky confidence)
The MV is what I love in kpop, it’s visually pleasing but I like the overall story is simple but fulfilling. I love all the girls uniting at the end, my magical girl fan was loving that! Basically this MV gave me that finishing touch that Feel Special lacked (I still love that MV! But they could’ve done so much more than the girls just glancing longingly at each other!)
The song for some reason reminds me of a 90s sitcom theme song? I like it, though it’s probably the least catchiest title track from a JYP girl group My ranking for catchy girl group songs LOA > BGGG > Dalla Dalla > Saas > Irony (I always forget that’s their debut tbh I always think it’s Tell Me)
Am I going to listen to it a lot? Probably not. But that’s ok, I’m not their core demographic. But unlike a lot of older people who reject this sound because of their age (ontd) that’s ok, I view it as a shot of energy. With all the cynicism that comes with aging, it’s time to listen to songs like this to get away from that mindset for awhile
