The 3rd guy I met irl on tinder like a moth or so ago was really nice and all, we actually did connect really well, but it was kinda friendly and he ended up sending me a message that he wasn't ready for a relationship quite yet but hoped we'd stay friends and honestly? I was completely fine with that lol.

Also a fuse/circuit breaker busted yesterday in my apartment and I had no idea what to do and the fridge going with it got me really worried, but I ended up sending this guy a message about this (bc he was the only dude I could think of that had a low threshold to message randomly about this) and he literally talked me though changing the fuse and buying a new one lol.


On a completely unrelated note
- I've had some really annoying stomach problems (again?? bc I had a different kind of stomach problem/ache like some months ago) and as a person who's used to growing up almost never being sick, having these mysterious health problems are just so frustrating.
- I've continued going aqua jogging lol even without my friend who introduce me to it, I just find it t be a really good full-body workout and going to the sauna afterwards feels soooo good (I usually don't go to the sauna unless I'm on our countryside house at our lakeside sauna (which is a normal thing around here fyi))

Very busy at work. Maybe my boss thinks that I'm not busy enough with implementation that she decided to pull me into doing customer success stuff. I struggled so much this week trying to accomplish so many tasks assigned to me. And I know it will be like this until the end of the year.

I'm glad there's BTOB and BTS comeback this week =) and I have my kdramas and Thai series to watch after work!

hi omona! hope you've had a good week and will have a great weekend!! my weekend will be nothing special, well, maybe a little bit special because i won't be working!!! (insert celebratory cheers here). i'm going to sleep in and see some friends because around this time of the year, a lot of friends of mine are celebrating their birthdays (now spread out because of covid fortunately, but usually mid-november i have a party every night - 6 friends birthdays in 4 days lol! why do i have so many scorpio friends!)

for the rest i'm listening to bts albums and am going to make a dent in my podcast list to finally clean my apartment (it's very very necessary)

Hello Omona!
It's been a tough week, I've really struggled mentally. My sleep habits are messed up, I'm not motivated to work, it's hard. I'm skyping my parents a lot (we put it in the background while we're working and talk to each other from time to time), and I might be asked to go to the office one day per week starting next week (more as a social requirement rather than a professional one). Also next week I have more zooms lined up and though I really don't like them (especially when it means I'll see Hot Work Guy on a camera rather than IRL lmao), it's still nice to see some faces and hear some voices, so I'm looking forward to these meetings! I'm hopeful next week won't be as lonely as this one was.
On a more positive side, I'm writing quite a lot of stories and my imagination is running wild, so yay me?

I think my cat is trying to overtake me. Yesterday she realized that my work chair is nicely placed between the window and one radiator, with a plaid and a cushion on it, so now she's trying to steal it away from me anytime she can. I have to brief her to look at the camera now, it might be useful for some zooms to have her instead of my face XD

That was barely one minute after I had left the chair lmao

I've been back to playing quite a lot of animal crossing, anyone playing too? My island isn't the prettiest, I could do much more, but idk it's just super satisfying to do a little every day. I can't wait for the snow in game, it looks SO PRETTY.

Music-wise, if you enjoy the current retro trend in kpop, go for Kylie Minogue's DISCO! it's a good album, I've been playing it quite a lot this week.
I've also gone for a dreamlike kind of pop with Yeseo (BE is a well produced mini), AZIN and Aseul.
Oh and I've caught up on Stella Jang's Stella I album, idk if you heard it yet, it's soft and relaxing, really nice to put on while working!

Good morning omona! How are you all doing?

It’s getting bad with COVID cases again here in the Midwest and it’s spiking my anxiety all the way up again. We need to go on another lockdown but people are idiots and would probably protest that but I just do not care. Like how do you talk about being proactive in lessening deaths but keep the whole state open?

Idk it’s stressing me out and good ol seasonal depression is kicking me hard so I’m going through it lol. I’ve been escaping with reading and sleeping a lot. I’m also in the process of re-decorating my room so that’s been fun even though the worst part of wanting to decorate is having to clean EVERYTHING 😭

I’m going to get coffee and cleaning supplies and then start my day. Have a good and safe weekend!

lots of things happened this week for me.
one. won a $300 gift card to target, thanks T-Mobile, who's not even my carrier, for extra money for Christmas.

two. went to the eye doc and got plugs in my tear ducts. I don't produce enough tears to keep my eyes hydrated, so we're trying this to see if it works. also, the dryness is effecting my cataracts along with my corneas and winter is not helping either.

three. it's a BTS & Chill day with the release of BE. this album is so good, like everyone else said, alot like mono. which is another chill album. here I am getting ready while listening to the album which I'll be listening on the way to and at work.

Hey, Omona! It's week 2 of cleaning up post-typhoon for me so it's been tiring and we're not halfway done but we're getting there! Also enjoying the BE album tbh! I have a few issues but otherwise I like it. Dis-ease is definitely my favourite off of BE.

Work was accommodating about my situation at home although there are still assholes that question why my calamity leave was approved like ok lol please feel free to clean up our house for me. But super grateful for everyone checking up on me and sharing/retweeting stuff for donations, relief and rescue! You guys are the sweetest <3

Anyway, went on a Johnny's nostalgia thing while cleaning out the house this week! Rewatched the Cartoon KAT-TUN II You Concert DVD and HSJ's S3ART concert. Man, I forgot how good these concerts were. Makes me even sadder at Arashi's hiatus and e-girls' disbandment this year :( On another note, I also noticed Fujigaya doesn't rap as much as he used too--which is sad because he's easily one of JE's better rappers lol I wish he could go back to rapping again soon. But I also understand why he doesn't considering he's the busiest in their group oof.

Corona is hitting pretty hard in California. This week about 94% of the state are listed as code purple which is the highest rank for the state's covid color tier system. The governor is implementing a month long curfews starting tomorrow so no non essential works and gathering between 10 pm to 5 am. It makes me wonder how bad Thanksgiving will be. I am pretty much staying home

Been on a Chinese drama binge recently. I have been watching Oh My General. You can kinda tell it's low budget. Currently reading Eastern Palace and hope to start Goodbye My Princess soon (the show is based on the book Eastern Palace). Xiao Zhan's (Wei Ying from The Untamed) drama The Wolf finally started airing this week. The first four eps are up on YouTube. I wonder what took it so long to air since iirc this drama was filmed before The Untamed in 2018.

Next week has a holiday, and it's the last week I'm fully in charge at school. I'm a week & a half behind on my real job, so I can not wait to a. relax for a day, and b. have two days where I can just work and get rid of this crushing "do your work!" loop in my head.

Also, Kun shall not dethrone Xiumin this week! Thank goodness I don't have years of watching Kun hoe-out dance, or Xiumin would be in trouble.

Oh, and I signed a year lease for a one bedroom on a busy street. It's the least I've paid in rent since 2005.

it's been a long week, lol. our kitchen is basically unusable because we have no sink or lower cabinets in place. my dad is working on replacing the flooring. 💀 there were 3 layers of flooring!! the bottom one had probably been nice when it was first installed, but now it's all old and brittle and not so cute. :T

i went a couple hours ago and got my [temporary] ID! they'll send the actual one in the mail. i finally signed up to be an organ donor, too.

I'm frustrated as fuck. I haven't had sex since I turned into a hermit since March because of the pandemic. Mainly because I wasn't in a rs and that was fine with me since I relied mostly on some fwbs prior to that. I'm really paranoid about this virus, so I decided to just not be with anyone since most people I know are party bugs and I don't 100% trust them, and I certainly won't be going around sleeping with strangers if I can't even trust friends.
