Like I said in the video post, I ended up actually really liking the track in the end, but I'm still hesitant regarding the AI aspect and I can't wait for SM to realise that it's not worth the additional budget and is swiftly dropped before their eventual mini album.
ningning and winter did really well, I like them a lot so far. giselle's voice is really nasal here. i'd like to see the choreo with a fixed camera next
the ais look low budget and awkward. if you insist on having them at least pay for better animation sm!!!
Meh...I didn’t like it and then I watched it several times more and I dislike it less. It’s not Rhythmic enough for me. Like I ain’t bopping. It’s not live (they did have them record live vocals at some point). That’s not a problem but it does show in te lip sync which the cameras love to get in their faces. Again NingNing and this inability to give a convincing lip sync (the absolute lack of drama or effort during her high note).
Best parts for me are Wynter’s part during the second verse (I didn’t like how they handled it during NingNing's version in verse 1), and the bridge. I don’t like the chorus (that ay yaya ya part is just weak). It’s trying too hard to be cool. Wynter harmonizing with Giselle in verse 2 was nice. I thought it was a nice touch. Also I realized why I think Karina wasn’t so present her and Giselle only have those one pieces of the verse and there little sections in the chorus. This song really relies on Wynter and NingNing. Katina was a lot more interesting here.
I don’t want intense over the top choreography. It’s never as good as people say it is, and none of these idols are good enough singers to be pulling it off, but this falls somewhere on the opposite end. It’s not to the point of just blocking and formations but it’s not exciting for me.
I hate the camera work, these outfits don’t need to make a reappearance, and eh...and will be waiting for the music show fancams.

It feels like they asked their normal people to do an Itzy-style concept so what we get is like, SNSD pretending to be (g)i-dle. That butt-in-the-air pause at the beginning of the chorus is particularly awkward, as is the 'aiyayaya' move and that move that the group does during Ningning's first part.
What is the point of the AI so far? For something they seem to have invested so much in, they sure have featured very minorly in all of this. They straight up took me out of the MV for the 2 seconds they showed up for.
On the positive, Winter is for sure a massive standout, and I really like Ningning's voice. Giselle seems like a solid performer too, shame she had so few lines. I like the styling, even if Winter's outfit fits weirdly.
I feel like this is the one group debut where I'm like "tbh I think they needed 1 or 2 more members to round out the group feel" as opposed to the usual "you could have trimmed a few from this lineup" lmao. I don't believe the rumours about members to be added later, we had that with RV, and all we ever got was Yeri.
ENOUGH with karina! glad to see giselle got more focus than in the mv but ningning and especially winter still got most of my attention.
i need a dance practice asap, some of these shots give me a headache and i want to be able to appreciate the choreo and their execution better bc it seems interesting.
after a few more listens the song grew on me and now i'm bopping tbh, i think the bad ai concept really soured their first impression and now that i'm actually seeing the girls in the flesh i'm warming up to them. i hope sm limits the ai thing to a marketing strategy, some cameos in their videos and merchandising and lets the girls shine by themselves.
but... that's just a glorified dance practice (or budget dance version of mv).
ningning is cute, i like her. i wish she was center of this choreo because she is the only one who is showing some kind of stage presence. others will get there in time ofc but for debut stages she could carry the group if she was given as much spotlight as karina.
The camera work made me dizzy and WHY with the upskirt shots??? I physically cringed each time it happened, and it's very deliberate. The song still underwhelms me, unfortunately, and I can't help but feel something is missing. Another member maybe? It just seems unbalanced somehow.
Also the animation still just makes me think of IMVU or something similar. It definitely doesn't look like a lot of effort is being put in to it.

Idk I find this song so boring so I might skip this for now and just wait for their comeback. Maybe I’ll check them out when they perform normal stages

This is a copycat of so much girl crush as of late and so many releases from SM this year from what I listened to are the typical SM fodder imo. If you’re glad they didn’t do retro music that’s fine, but praising them for originality - just L O L. That’s like praising YG for skipping the retro wave and doing the same shit they do over and over again for Blackpink
i noticed that during Ningning's parts, the camera tends to veer away from her than focus on her pretty frequently. And uh, that floor move with the crotch shot... it was done multiple times and each time i cringe. Imo Giselle and Ningning are the most comfortable onstage, and they really seem to be missing at least one person since the formations look like they're for 5 people rather than 4. And I'd like to mention again that Ningning really got the short end with the AI, whew! Hers is the most lq out of all of them and considering how lq they all are....
