probably because they don't fit the "cute underage pure" vibe they wanted for Izone. They had strong auras and just really talented.

I was just shocked that someone who was #1 for weeks like Kaeun didn't make it to the top 12, and even someone so popular as Chowon who climbed all the way up through pure talent.

My bet 100% is on Yuri being the rigged one. She had never cracked the top 10 and lacks charisma for me, then all of a sudden she ended up at #3 in the finale? I knew they needed a strong vocalist so that's probably why they included her, but that main vocal role in Izone should've been Chowon's.

it's interesting that the rigging evolved from season 1 where it seemed to be lesser kmown trainees in the earlier rounds to ACTUAL MANIPULATION OF THE FINAL GROUP MEMBERS. at least suhyun will be debuting in the mystic ngg now but my heart HURTS for kaeun.

Some of these were obviously rigged out, like Jin Woo, Koohkeon and Kaeun. But I'm really surprised that Dongho was the one who was rigged out, everybody thought it was Jonghyun!

I'm most surprised about keum Donghyun making it in the last season. He really didn't strike me as a fan favourite/having a strong fandom/nor having a lot of buzz around him according to search stats and views, and he barely had any lines in the final performances. Koo Jungmo was a shoe-in, although I didn't understand it, his popularity was undeniable.

My poor Chowon, she was one of my favourite and now she's in limbo. They should have released some singles or covers for her. I can't believe they didn't work on her growing hype for all this time. Cube is wasting her away.

People keep mentioning hyewon and chaewon (or even yena??) but Jo Yuri ranking 3rd, anyone? It's obvious they rigged her in cause they needed a main vocal.

And Jinhyuk was so obviously excluded as part of their 'put the leader-like guy in the 14th place' narrative. I can't at mnet and cjem being so shameless that they thought they could get away with being so obvious about their rigging. And to think they didn't have to face the music for ruining and exploiting these kids? It's disgusting how you can get away with everything with money and connections.

They better compensate the eliminated trainees. They robbed them of all their opportunities.

I was SO annoyed that Chowon and Kaeun weren’t in the final lineup, so this feels like vindication for me.

Chowon was one of my favorites...but I knew mnet wasn’t shit by how they pigeonholed her as a rapper for the group trials (in part, I’m sure, because of her skin tone). She was the better vocalist between her and Eunbi.

ugh I loved Chowon, she was such a fighter and an underdog from the beginning and I remember how nobody picked her to be in their team and she was left being the leader of the trainees that weren't picked. She carried that team on her shoulders and won the group battles. She really rose up the rankings purely on just being so talented. I agree, I think they didn't put her on Izone because she is darker than the other girls and it ruins the "pure" image that Koreans associate with lighter skin tone.

I was so mad as well when they made her a rapper for Rumor. Eunbi's voice is so thin to me.

Chowon would have been a good main vocal for the group, but I guess Yuri made more sense. But imagine having chowon and Yuri together wow. I wouldn’t mind Hyewon being out of the group, but I don’t think she was rigged in though. She seems popular to male fans and a stan attractor for her non performing side. At least Chaewon/Yuri/Minju have been able to showcase their talents and they’re still relatively popular, so I guess the rigging wasn’t all too bad

Does this mean that the Japanese members were not rigged out? I can’t bring myself to accept or believe that there are so few Japanese members.
