I honestly hate to say this as one of the like 3 OG Woodz stans here LOL but I'm just OK on the album. IA Trigger is the best song. It's just overall a bit too slow of an album for me, I thought EQUAL was vastly superior and every track was right up my alley. I like chill music but this is missing something in a few of the songs. His voice sounds lovely and fantastic as always but I don't see myself listening to this mini album as much as I did EQUAL.
I also find it harder to enjoy solo performances since they can't dance as hard since well, they have to sing the whole thing. He did well but Love Me Harder was more interesting to watch than Bump Bump
The album is pretty mellow and it has a more wintery feel to it, it's a totally different vibe but I still prefer the punch Equal packs. I understand why he chose Bump Bump as title track, it's a public friendly upbeat and fun song to perform, but Trigger is my jam and I want all the live performances of this song!
Yixuan is locked in yuehua basement doing douyins (but made a cute song for uniq's 6th anniversary). Sungjoo is still in army, so no news from him. Yibo finished shooting one drama and started a new one (I think, I don't like his fans so is hard to keep up), was in street dance of china (I think his group placed 2nd), his fans made some kind of riot because someone crashed yibo motorcycle in a competition lol and he is in almost every ad in China. Wenhan is doing fine. UNINE disbanded so he is probably going solo, he is doing lots of magazine shots and going on few music shows. He was/is in a show about summer (it was big but I didn't watch it, he had a mini-scandal about boys doing girl group dances and I don't really know if the show ended). It seems like he is doing some acting classes. And he is very active in sns, posted on Instagram about seungyoun comeback.
I started loving them with the teasers for their debut. They were so cute and sexy at the same time. And Falling in Love is also my favorite song (in all versions too) what a great song. The choreo was so pretty and cute. omg I love them so much. I will wait until they officially disband. They don't have any luck. Yuehua is not really great as a company for groups and the Hallyu ban in china is a bummer. They still a top 5 boyband in china tho.

In 2018 he was placed first in a survival show, but like many other survival groups in china they flopped (also because yuehua management for their groups are terrible and the show flopped too lol the group of trainees who lost gained more fame and opportunities than yixuans group).
For sungjoo he was supposed to be in pdx101 with seungyoun. We don't really know the reason he didn't go but some fans say it was because of his age (yuehua bullshit because yixuan is much older and went on a survival show one year before). One year ago he released a song and did lots of lives on some Chinese platforms. And then all of sudden he enlisted. But I think it was because of the pandemic, he did some dramas and the pandemic stoped some shootings. Maybe when he came back from the military he will have more opportunities (yuehua kr is doing a good job for lee dohyun and can probably do the same for sungjoo but it is all my own speculation).
Yibo is probably one of the most successful people under yuehua these days. He is probably really rich and can even monetize his hobbies like skateboarding and motorcycle races. He was my bias when uniq debuted and I'm really happy for him. He released some songs most promotional for his dramas. He was in happy camp with hangeng lol. Yixuan was there too and I think Justin from pd101 s2/ip s1/next7. Was a special with yuehua artists.
Really?? I was able to see them when they came to Brazil and wenhan wasn't able to come so seungyoun sang wnehan parts. I think at the time he really wanted to be a rapper but was a good singer too.
If you have the opportunity listen to bad bad bad from unine unine flight album. Is a collection of solo songs from the members and badbadbad is wenhans song. Is a good song. (I also recommend Guan Yue's Over from the same album and his solo song that was released after unine disbandment "center"). His solo debut will probably take some time. He is probably going to do some dramas and magazines/ads.

I don't think I have a bias now. I just like all of them equally. Like I said, I don't like yibo fans. There are lots of his (and seungyoun's) fans that talk bad about uniq and the other members. Wenhan fans seem to be nicer. And people like to attack wenhan because he likes to make fun of yibo. CPOP solo stans are worst than KPOP stan sometimes. (Someone from some Chinese boyband spoke up about cpop solo stans. Telling that he and his members are pretty close but they can't really play with each other because of the solo stans.)
Twiter is good to keep up. I follow lots of unicorns and I can see what the boys are doing.
Justin seems to be the only one in yuehua china that is doing music lately. lol The yuehua in happy camp seemed really fun. (In didn't watch lol)

I agree - on one hand I get why he would release such an album for autumn/winter, but it sounds like generic krnb for me. I'd appreciate if his mellow songs were similar to Waikiki and Different.

He usually puts a lot of effort into his songs, so the choices probably have some explanation. I think more rnb songs like different or meaningless would be a better choice.
Bumpbump is really nostalgic for me because remembers a song from an alternative rock band from early 2000's that was in a teen romance movie.
