I’m getting better at learning is who, I couldn’t tell Sumin and J apart vocally at first, but now I see Sumin is doing more of the sing-talking and J has the deeper voice. I was wondering why I disliked the beginning but liked the deeper vocals later on, I thought it was because of the part itself but now I see it’s because it was a different member entirely lol.
Seeun had pretty good expressions, she was charismatic on stage. Overall while I love the song, the stages could use some improving but I can’t definitely see these girls making progress over time!
I'm not learning names until the second comeback. The one that was a standout was Bangs (do not tell me her name because I will forget on purpose). She is also the only person who can pull off this hairstyle and not look like somebody's classmate from school.
As for the stage: it was fine. Off of first impression the choreo felt a tad bit busy. This is also one of those moments that the lack of fanchants/screaming really made the stage feel empty...although I doubt they would have much going for them all things considered. I really like the song. Not to make this about my former faves, but this sounds like BEP's last track with Sistar in approach (I Like That). Not cute, but uptempo and fast paced. BEP have a knack for that 80's spiced synth pop and since K pop wants to be on this anything before 1985 sound kick...good choice.
my babies bvndit have been on radio silence for two weeks so this is filling the vocal void for me.. i just watched a bunch of their videos today and really impressed with how good they are especially considering they're only 16-19..! (i could literally almost be their mom wtf) their voices are pretty interesting and the song's already stuck in my head.. let's hope BEP continues producing bops for them and doesn't fuck it up like other producer groups.
i saw some people talking about J's low voice but i still wasn't prepared for just how low omg.. and it's cool that seeun went viral(?) but imo yoon is the most visually striking (the bangs help) and can you imagine how much taller she's going to get??
they sound so good and i like that it sounds different than the studio version but still clearly their voices? like its not a carbon copy of the studio version. i know its still VERY early but fingers crossed their follow up single wont be too far away, they have great momentum rn and are steadily trending in korea!
