DIA Preparing For January 2021 Comeback!

DIA is getting ready to begin 2021 with a comeback!

On November 12, a source from DIA’s agency MBK Entertainment told Newsen, “DIA is planning a comeback next year in January and preparing for it.” Newsen reports that it’s planned that Jung Chaeyeon will be promoting with the group for the comeback.

DIA most recently made a comeback in June with their sixth mini album “Flower 4 Seasons” as a five-member unit without members Jung Chaeyeon and Somyi.

They’re still at it! Chaeyeon will be participating in these promotions. No news on Somyi if she’s participating or MBK officially announcing she left.

I liked it as a subunit, knowing that it wasn’t a main release helped a bit but yea it’s not memorable :( I have to replay it again soon since I can’t remember how it goes

Woowa was so much fun!! It would fit in with the current trends. I hope they stick with a fun sound for this comeback.

I don’t think Somyi is coming back though. She wasn’t in their bts video for season’s greeting so I’m not holding up hope. But if it makes her better then go ahead.

I perhaps just want their contracts with MBK to end, so Eunice can earn by herself as a YouTuber, Huihyeon pursue music she wants and Chaeyeon to be a full fledged actress. Yebin and Jooeun can probably pursue music too, and Eunchae into acting?

I just wish MBK would announce it. Playing this game of “is this member still part of the group” isn’t fun for anyone involved and just seems really rude to fans who are invested in the group. But the last post on Somyi (https://omonatheydidnt.livejournal.com/26345446.html) sounds like she left and is doing well!

DIA is one of the special groups that I enjoy their content a lot!....but I’ll be happy when they do not resign their contracts and finally disband. Momoland I also include in this category as well. It’s nothing against them, it’s because they have shitty companies I’d rather they just be free on this nonsense.

Yea I don’t trust MBK with all the things they’ve pulled off, so it’s better for all of them to leave tbh. As for most idols, they really do deserve better but it’s the shitty companies that leave these idols middling that makes it hard for them to choose between leaving the industry or continuing once their contracts end

this group is lasting a lot longer than I've ever expected, it makes me really wanna root for the members to just be happy and successful. Every comeback feels like it's the last; even the girls think so as well. They have a long history of hustling for promotions through variety and I think it's what kept them alive, and the occasional catchy release.
