JE fandom has been crazy the past week from people leaving the agency, a huge cheating scandal to tons of announcements... i feel like i haven't been able to keep up with kpop at all because it's been such a busy week.

I watched that video and was amazed! We have 2 fruit-bearing trees in our property and often spot fruit bats enjoying the custard/sugar apple. Some birds also loves to snack on our chilis LOL This guy planted a full garden for them!

My parents have a new visitor in their garden, it's a fat grey cat who meows at my parents (my mom said about the cat "she has a lot to say") and gets actually pretty close for a cat that just moved in the neighbourhood! She doesn't steel food like the groundhogs, but she poops in one of the flower beds and my parents aren't exactly thrilled with it lol

I am very thankful that my family and friends are all safe after the typhoon that hit our country. The house where my kids and in-laws are staying at was flooded with knee-deep water, no electricity for more than 24hrs. Today, we're almost back to normal. Very very thankful!

quite a shitty week.

one of my closest friend’s mom passed away last sunday and only found out through our mutual friend. she hasn’t told anyone yet cause she is not ready to receive the condolences messages from ppl yet :( i wanna reach out to her but i’ll let her take her time. i can only send prayers from faraway.

i lost hope with the way the government handling the covid situation here. i’m so jealous of ppl in neighboring country which has gotten everything under control cause of their strict quarantine + proper testing and tracing system. our numbers are not going up (despite a lot of ppl going out and definitely not social distancing) cause the government has been doing fewer test ugh!!! just the other day there were mass gathering with thousands of ppl and the government didn’t do shit about it (it’s all political ugh fuck them all i wish they all have covid but i feel sorry for the medical workers who has to take care of them).

btw i saw video of london walk on youtube yesterday and i thought it was taken before the pandemic seeing that almost none of them wearing mask but when i checked the date, it says august 2020 (also later i saw social distancing poster in the video so i know it’s taken recently). i mean really????? ppl just stop taking this pandemic seriously when it’s still very much present.

Hey everyone. Not the best week at all here. Another typhoon hit us and now we were in the direct target. Flood outside our house reached chest-deep, it went inside our house and reached waist-deep. We were lucky to have a second floor but others aren’t so lucky. Our pets have been anxious but even we can’t do anything. As much as I’d like to say the worst is over (typhoon has already left the country), we have 5 more typhoons coming in before the year ends, all because of climate change (which rich countries refuse to acknowledge as real). We were able to save our books and other necessities but I can’t say the same for our couches and beds. It’s gonna be a long weekend.

i'm going away to the countryside this weekend with my parents to do some hiking. i'm hoping it will help me relax a little bit, because i've been very stressed this week and not sleeping well because of it. one of the grading deadlines i thought was in three weeks was pushed forward to next week (!) when i was hoping i would have some time to catch up on regular work and my computer is slowly deteriorating so i'm have to go to a repair shop before it completely breaks down... in my experience, when one electrical appliance breaks down the rest goes too!

in better news, i watched hsm again with friends who had never seen it, which was really fun! the overacting in that show is hilarious to me (and i think my friends thought it was hilarious that i could not stop singing along with the songs. i miss karaoke!)

Hi everyone! I had a regular week, nothing too crazy.
This afternoon I'm finally seeing a friend :) she works really close to my flat so I'll meet her at her job and we'll walk together to the subway station, of course I would love to do more but just walking in the street/wearing masks will be a nice change for me. Two weeks in and my cat is the main reason I haven't lost my mind yet lmao. It's crazy how much of a difference she makes. I know seeing my friend, even while keeping our distances, will help too :)
Yesterday I went out for my groceries and I guess I was right at the moment parents had to get their kids from school? but there were so many people in the streets. Guys, we're supposed to be in lockdown. Thankfully lots of masks.

I'm still binging Star Trek and I guess I'll be officially adding it to my list of fandoms lol. I'm still watching TNG in between two episodes of Discovery (I haven't watched ep. 5 at the moment, it's my "yeah another week of job went by!!!" reward so I watch it on Friday evening lmao DON'T SPOIL) and I guess I'll go to Deep Space 9 next? We'll see.
I haven't wrote anything for a while as my imagination felt like it had dried up since September, but this week I've started a dumb self-insert Star Trek fic lmao (all characters from my imagination, I'm just "borrowing" the ST universe), I guess it's good that I'm writing again even if it will DEFINITIVELY keep this for myself
My brother told me that ep. 2 of the Mandalorian has spider-like aliens and I'm so scared to watch it now hahaha. At least by now ep. 3 is also out so I can immediatly move to another one.

I've replayed GFriend's comeback SO MUCH the last few days it's not funny, and when I play something else it's Kylie's DISCO. Lmao I'm really digging the retro fever lately, I hope it keeps on coming

Hi omona. How is everyone? Trying to get used to the change of weather here. It took a drastic 10 degree difference in less than a wk so basically I am bundling up now while I was wearing shorts a week prior. I am kinda ready for the holidays but kinda not at the same times. Kinda weird seeing the holiday sales already starting. Corona cases has started going back up so they raised the warning lvl in my county starting today. No more indoor dining and gyms are going to back to being outdoors again.


I wish SM would release the details for Kai's album already. I can't believe I ordered all the vers for it. The fact it was cheaper per album to get them all instead of just one was what got me to do it.

omona, as of tomorrow, i will have been in the new house for a week. 🥳 it's been trying; the sellers covered up a lot of shit. we have to redo the kitchen because all the lower cabinets have some kinda mold. i think it's where the ancient dishwasher leaked at one point. we have to redo the bathrooms at some point too, but we're trying to hold off for the time being. 😩 someone from the gas company had come out and lit the pilot light for our fireplace, and the next day i was like "heyyyyy i think i smell gas!" so that was fun. 🙃 they came out yesterday and replaced an improper line, so hopefully now we can use it safely.

aside from the stuff the sellers tried to hide, the house is pretty much fine. the neighborhood is pretty quiet! there's a lot of nice homes out here, lol. and people are so friendly!! such a stark contrast from florida. 😂

i'm less than 5 minutes from the closest grocery store, i live close enough to most places for food delivery, and it only takes about 20 minutes to get to the interstate. i've already gotten insurance that'll start on the 1st of december, so i gotta start finding some doctors.

So between my sister and I we have 4 cats (altho rn 2 are living w our parents) and we call ourselves their moms and sometimes we made their voices and last week while I was impersonating our youngest one I called her señora (mrs) and she got angry, like "i'm a miss!" and then she called me señora too, but I just shrugged cause I don't care.

I don't like bieng called señorita (miss) either, cause I'm NB (my sister doesn't know yet). I mean, most of the time I don't mind much, but lately it really annoys me how gendered spanish is ://

Last month I think, I ordered smth and my sister went to pick it up to the front gate and the delivery person called me a man. My first name is gender neutral in white countries, but not here in mx, so I was surprised and honestly? It made me really happy. I don't identify as a man, but just people not assuming I'm a woman right away felt amazing.

I started intermittent fasting since around March thinking I needed to get my health in check after turning 30. To be honest, the pandemic was what really pushed me sincd I'm already a sickly fuck, so I needed to be in my best shape just in case, you know?

It's been around 9 months, I'm 31 now, and I'm 9kg lighter, with only 5kg more to reach my weight goal. I tried on a pair of pants that I got TWO years ago thinking they would be motivation for me to lose weight and thenforgot about, but they finally fit me! I've gone down about three pant sizes, which is great. I'm really short so weight tends to show in me easily. The only bits that haven't gone down in size are my boobs, lmao.

It's been a slow race, and to be honest, I'm quite satisfied with my weight now, but if I can get a fitter body, then hell yeah, I will do it; scales tend to lie anyway (although ngl, seeing these numbers is a great ego booster).

IF really is now a lifestyle for me. I do 16/8 or 8/16 with a couple cheat days a month, which rarely involves junk food and more of just eating at whatever hours I want, lol. I cut down on sugars, caffeine (although I'll never completely give up on my cappuccinos), and although my diet has always around 80% vegetarian, I've added more meat varieties, mainly fish (which I used to hate) and poultry. Haven't had red meat in a looong while and don't particulalry miss it. Also tried to regulate my sleep schedule, which is a bit more difficult as an insomniac, but I've been getting at least a constant 6 hours a day.

My Covid-19 scare on January had me scared for my life; I really took my body for granted for a few years. Hopefully, IF will be the end of that.

IF is so helpful for me, since I'm really, really bad at limiting my food intake by regular means (I'm a snacker, so I'm constantly noshing on nuts or chips and i feel weirdly empty when I don't), but find it easy to stop eating after a certain time. I started it early last year along with taking barre classes (which I haven't been to for the past 8 months bc of covid 😆) and admittedly, it took forever to lose weight, around 16 lbs in 10 months LOL, so I've just been comforting myself with how I'm a lot more toned now so some of the weight is muscle weight rather than fat. I usually do 16/8 on weekdays, and 18/6 on sundays because I wake up late. There are occasional cheat days, but since covid it's been easy to stick to it because it's not like I have a social life anyway.
