Soloist Blue.D Exits YGX Entertainment (YGE Subsidiary Label)

Blue.D debuted late last year with YGX, which is under YGE.. But she has made the decision to leave the company. She plans on still putting out music through YouTube and SoundCloud, as well as releasing song covers. She also wants to put more focus on her YT channel (with 312,000 subscribers) like posting more videos about her hobbies.

I’m excited! I was interested in her initially but passed on her music since I don’t follow YG artists. But wow it took no time for her to jump ship. I wonder because she realized quickly that she wouldn’t have that much of a career boost out of this. I hope Anda does the same, I miss her so much and it’s clear YGX isnt benefitting her much either, after her solo I haven’t heard anything about her since.

Also I think she is one of many who realizes youtube is more viable than joining a company these days, it feels like. She can put stuff out on her terms without following the strictness of a company. She’s really pretty and honestly has a lovely speaking voice, I hope for the best for her and I’ll look out for new music from her!

Also curious how long she’ll stick with the blue hair lol. It’s very much associated with her name but I can’t see it being long term?

it still physically hurts me that not only anda signed up with yg but was also a part of s*ungr* solo mv/promotions. i wish she left too and went back to her old aesthetics.

At least this was all before the shit show started, so I know Anda didn’t know but :(((( yea I’ve skipped everything since she’s joined.

I really wish she found a label that could network more, like she worked with Primary and they’re well respected. She could’ve gone the route of solo artist the music enthusiasts are adding to their playlists - Kind of like Bibi. Anda already had that path started. I know YG was tempting since she’s older and they’re a big 3 (even though YGX isn’t their main part) but this wasn’t the right route. Now her career as a vocalist has stalled when it didn’t have to be that way.

To be honest, I never checked her out because of her association with YG. Will probably do that now. Good for her for leaving and I hope she finds more succes!

why are there still female artists at YG?? besides the sex trafficking they don't allow their female artists any creative control and constantly put them down. CL left YG and then she finally got to release something as did Lee Hi
