TRIGGER WARNING: Singer and famous idol composer arrested for illegally filming, drugging, and r*ping trainee causing her suicide

A guitarist-turned-singer and songwriter A has been arrested by police for causing death of a trainee.

According to a report by MBC's "News Desk" on the 3rd, a woman in her 20s (B), an aspiring idol, was discovered dead in April with a suicide note that read, "I was raped and distressed by someone."

The bereaved family filed a complaint stating that her death is related to her ex-boyfriend, A, a singer and famous idol composer who illegally filmed and raped her after drugging her. Police have launched an investigation and seized the singer's cell phone and computer.

Two months after her death, B's father belatedly found out from his dead daughter's cell phone that she had been "drugged with alcohol" and "worse done to her." Her father found a message from her daughter to an acquaintance where she wrote, "I can't do anything and feel like I'm losing my mind."

The alleged assailant is her ex-boyfriend, a singer-songwriter that participated in the album production of a famous idol recently.

According to B's acquaintances, B confessed that "he had illegally filmed and raped her" during the time they dated. It was also reported that B was in pain after watching the illegal footage sent by A.

Her acquaintance recalled her B's words where she told her, "I took a sip [liquor] and blacked out with foam coming out of my mouth. I don't remember what happened afterwards but I was lying naked in bed as he filmed a video of me."

A denied the allegations telling MBC reporters that the accusations were "groundless."

His lawyer also countered stating, "It's just a one-sided claim by the accuser. A has never acted or done anything immoral or illegal."

Police are investigating the case, however, A has been booked on charges of sexual violence, rape, and injury. Police are currently analyzing digital evidence from his cellphone and computer that were secured through a search and seizure of his home.

I'm so mad. Like actually so mad. South Korea's laws are so fucking ridiculous people are starting to see no other choice than taking their own lives. That's so fucked up?? She probably knew that even if she sued and reported him he'd get tops 5 months of probation, seeing how Hara's abuser got almost nothing done to him and he did all those atrocious things. Exactly! And this reminds me yet again that men are so fucking disgusting. He's 20 years her senior and they were in a relationship like ???? It doesn't help either that Seungri and YG survived Burning Sun with no charges, and JJY and CJH get super reduced sentences, and she probably thought there was no escape anymore except taking her own life. I'm so disappointed, the law is failing woman so much to the point were the only answer to them is this. I wouldn't be surprised if women start carrying weapons and take things to their own hands too, which heavily worries me bcs the assholes who run the Korean gov will probably not count it as self defense in most cases. Just looking at how most celebs got away with their BS, if I was a woman in SK, I would also having little to no hope about justice being made. This is hella sad ugh

considering how this guy has far, far more clout than hara's ex did, i'm pretty sure he'll get away with even less. sk justice system is just so... protective? of people in positions of power, like how he'll probably get a probation and nothing else, but "libel" and "slander" against someone can put you in jail if it affects the accused's bottom line, even if it's true.
