Sweet Dreams is the best B-Side this year for me, just pipped the songs on Everglow's mini to the post. The other two are ok, I'm never a big one for ballads but neither are necessarily straight ballads. D-Day is cute. Just Us is nice, I love that Rina/Yoojung/Lucy were involved in the lyrics and it's another Suyeon track. Lucy got a surprising amount of lines on this one. It's a nice smooth track.
I've actually listened to 100 Facts more than I've listened to Cool lmao. It's fun hearing them sing in English, I feel like you hear new aspects to people's voices when they sing in your own language.
I really can't go on about Sweet Dreams enough though. It takes the dreaminess of other groups' concepts but puts its own Weki Meki spin on it. There's a dark undercurrent to it that matches the title track and I love it. It's very dreamworld but you probably shouldn't be here and there's a vaguely threatening feeling following you everywhere. Makes me think of films like Coraline or Alice in Wonderland.
Hmmm I liked the highlight medley, listening in full it’s just ok. Hide and Seek’s mini was better. Sweet Dreams is very interesting in concept but it’s not really what I was expecting unfortunately. As for 100 Facts/Cool in English t’s kinda cheesy (vs being...cool lol) so if I listen it’ll be the Korean version
