Everytime Weki Meki comes back, I tell myself this is going to be the song that makes me a fan. Hell, I don’t hate “I Don’t Like Your Girlfriend” (also give them their little flowers for having the foresight to get on the girlcrush wave that early). And then I don’t. I like it, just like their other songs though. They are very consistent if nothing else. I wish the chorus was stronger. None of their voices have edge (the curse of k pop tbh) so y’all need to make some.
I’m basically in the same boat. It’s nice but is it a song I’m going to be playing often? Eh...I doubt it but we’ll see anything can happen. (Edit: first impression wasn’t great but I’m liking it more with multiple listens.)
The chorus I enjoyed quite a bit but I wish it was a stronger vocalist or someone with just a more interesting vocal tone in general, it falls flat without that edge
i love it! it's noise but chic noise. it's not my fav weki meki track but i like it because it's something a bit different from their normal sound and suyeons vocals at the chorus really lift the song everytime it gets a bit monotone. im excited to see the full choreo as well the bits you can see in the mv look great and they always deliver on that front

Holy shit this is so good. Honestly their best comeback since Picky Picky holy shit Lucy is SHINING can't believe this girl has only just turned 18. Literally everyone shone this comeback tho holy shit? Sei's parts are incredible is that her in the centre at the end? I love Rina's verse and goddam. @ that yoojung/lucy/lua rap relay for the bridge I have been waiting for that to happen since their One More Time cover like 3 years ago. Suyeon is the on member who consistently fails to catch my eye but this time she absolutely slayed, damn. Literally the only thing I find questionable is Lua's green streak but Lua's such a badass babe I don't care, she sells it completely. Doyeon and Yoojung are charismatic professionals as always. This song is noisy but tbh if you come into a WKMK song not expecting noise then you're setting yourself up for failure at this point. Honestly they've become so good at picking tracks that balance the chaos with a fun or elegant element that they have such a good and consistent sound, this group deserves so much more.
Elly's vocals are SO GOOD in her verse wow I love that little adlib at the end Also I love the 3-in-the-front, staggered-5-in-the-back thing they do for the post-chorus it's great Sei was in that rapline during the middle and I totally missed it I love when Sei gets to rap! She has such a unique voice
Doyeon I’m convinced that if she was in a big 3 company/a group that went viral, she’d be rolling in CFs (Or more than she does now) I remember watching clips of her in pd101 and thought she was the visual Korea goes gaga over. She really is a stunner!
And Lua???? *swoons* I thought her short hair for their last cb looked sort of meh in the MV imo (I’ve seen better short haircuts on female idols) but here? Damn she looks so good!! Somehow she and Miya need to collab for a dance video so I can enjoy the visuals lol
I like this more than Dazzle, and it may pass Oopsy for me as while I really liked the song, I kinda got bored of it fast too. This song is growing on me, though it’s dragging in certain parts. The first impression wasn’t great but on multiple listens certainly hitting better.
This is their best MV by far, still nothing exciting but usually their MVs are quite forgettable for me but at least this one looks higher quality by far. Like the use of color here too!

This is very cool!! I have never listened to Weki Meki before but I like this. I did have to google Doyeon after reading all the comments- she is the one who stood out to me immediately! She is striking!!

It's infuriating that a gg this good only has 304k and 77k views after being up for hours when other groups who sound like a broken toilet flushing have millions of views within seconds. I know it's rabid stan culture at work but I'd like to see some of the lesser known but much better girl groups get what they deserve.
I was kinda meh on the song when i watched the mv, because i thought there was too much chanting but i've been listening to their English version of the song for the last 10 min and I'm 100% behind the song now?!!! Especially the beginning, it sounds so COOL, the lazy ayayay and the relentless beat of it, is a wholeass mood.
(Edit: i love fhe English version more bc there are some parts in the korean version where they sound weirdly cute, but yoojungs rap in korean is superior)
I don't appreciate this group enough honestly. They have such well rounded members and their styling and visuals are always on point. I love their music too, although it does seem to always miss a little bit of extra umph to really make me a stan.
