i don't like commenting on songs i've only heard a part of but this is 1) fun 2) clearly not go. lol.

i don't find him essential either. In fact, I think his presence hinders Jeno and Jaemin in terms of their "rapping" I like the bond that they have though. And the members themselves love 7dream so *shrugs*

My only gripe with Mark is pretty much this, he takes a lot of the rap lines that could have gone to Jaemin, Jeno and even Jisung. On top of that, Mark will sing as well. So he already has a higher line distribution than most of the members.

Their bond is adorable and I love seeing them together as 7, but I think their time as 6 has allowed them to grow and improve because they've learned to cover their bases and done an excellent job of covering Mark's parts. If they're happy to have Mark back then let them be happy. I'm happy that they're happy at least.

Mark is actually one of my favorite members of NCT as a whole, but I will be the first person to say that he is too much in Dream. You're right in the fact that not only does he rap but he also sings so he is EVErYwHERE. Let the other boys shine especially because Dream is their only project whereas Mark has so many others. He honestly doesn't need to have that many lines in dream, I wish they would put him a little bit on the backburner in dream but he seems to be one of SMs golden boys so that isn't gonna happen


(In regards to your separate comment, SM better give us a full Dream album next year. It is LONG overdue)

I find Mark very endearing, I have a soft spot for him. He's definitely one of my faves in the NCT ensemble. However, he's overworked and overexposed as is because he's in the most units and has so many activities, so for him to also have the most lines and screen time in Dream on top of that doesn't sit right with me. 127 also has a similar issue in regards to both Mark and Taeyong.

The only other person in Dream that has another unit is Haechan because he's in 127, but everyone else pretty much has Dream as their only unit and never participated in U activities before this year. Let the boys get their time to shine and be able to showcase their abilities. Especially because the lines that Mark gets aren't particularly too difficult to be covered by the other members either. Jisung has stepped into his role as a vocalist and both Jeno and Jaemin have improved their rapping. Plus, Jisung and Jeno are also very strong dancers, let them have their center time. Give Mark a break, let him breathe. He doesn't need to be doing everything.

(I still can't believe BP got a full album before Dream when they've both been around for 4 years ._. LONG overdue is an understatement!)

I like seeing them together as 7, but performance wise...They've really held their own as 6 because it allowed them to become more well rounded as a group. I like Mark, I'll always have a soft spot for him, but he isn't a 'necessary' member for Dream.

Not sure if I should be surprised that we went from Boom and Ridin to this ._. But then again, we did get We Go Up after Go, so maybe I really should have expected this lmao XD One thing for sure is that they've still kept the rebellious vibe so it is very on brand for Dream.

The real question is, are we finally getting that full album or nah? I have an inkling that they were waiting for Mark to rejoin before they released a full album, so I guess we may get one by next year.
