On September 18, Pledis Entertainment officially confirmed that SEVENTEEN was planning to make a comeback in the near future. The agency stated, “SEVENTEEN is aiming for an October comeback and is currently working hard on their preparations.”

SEVENTEEN’s upcoming return will mark their first comeback since June, when they released their seventh mini album “Heng:garæ” and its accompanying title track “Left & Right.”

I was talking with my friend who is a super hardcore fan of SVT earlier about this. She's concerned...4 comebacks in 7 months (2 Korea, 2 Japan).

@ people who keep saying they should've come back in december instead: as someone who has wanted a christmas album from them for years, october is a much better time to come back if you're concerned about the members overworking themselves because november/december comebacks always overlap with award/year end shows and thus promos during those times are extra taxing. seungkwan i'm a little worried about but he can always sit out choreo or just not participate in the comeback full-time. some people are also speculating it might just be a pre-release like hit was and the real comeback in happening in december after all. anyway, concerns about them overworking themselves definitely made sense in the past years but with all their tours cancelled and the members essentially being unemployed whenever they aren't promoting since none of them have a solo career to speak of, i wouldn't really worry too much? it's not like their japanese comebacks were actually promoted? all the performances that were aired on tv were pre-recorded and the fansigns are all happening online as well.

Ahh it hasn't been much time since Left & Right, but I'm guessing that during this time the kids don't have much to do other than work on music haha. Hoping that this was their own choice to have a comeback so soon and that it'll be a good one!

Isn't BTS having an October cb as well? So they maybe we can predict BTS' dates by SVT or vice-versa cause I guess BH wouldnt want to make them compete directly

not at pledis acting like carats are their own personal cash machines. they've been spewing out things left and right (hahah). they're really overworking them but ig it must be one of the reasons why 24h was just that and a bunch of other songs but in Japanese ¬_¬

I really hope this release tops An Ode tho bc Henggarae was just not it for me.
