I love this group but ever since Hobgoblin their releases have been so hit or miss for me? That one and a track like NO really hit all the right buttons with me, but songs like Black Dress and Helicopter are missing something that I can't quite put my finger on. This video made me realize those tracks sound very.... dated in a way? Someone help me explain this lol

I still think Elkie needed more lines but I love the pre-chorus and the chorus. Seunghee sounds amazing. I would say the higher pitched parts in the verses are the weaker parts of the song and Eunbin's anecdotal parts.

Black dress is my favourite song from them but I love how Helicopter embraces the badass concept in a way that is reminiscent to boy groups. If you change the model walking and posing, this is a boy group choreo and it's refreshing. I bet the dance line must be thriving with this dance!

i'm unapologetic about my taste, all three songs are great. i love helicopter (though i do hope the line distribution was a one time thing to bank on yeeun) and i actually got chills watching the dance practice video yesterday. i'm having fun!

I feel like Eunbin works best with playful concepts, which there were glimpses of in Hobglobin and Black Dress. it's a shame she doesn't really fit into most of CLC's concepts, which are more mature/darker. this kinda applies to Yujin too, which is a pity as her dance is pretty strong.

hope with the Helicopter being well-received by ifans, the group can continue putting out music! their title songs have been pretty solid since Black Dress.

i was just thinking this, yujin shines in their brighter, chipper songs, but since their concept change she's been pretty much relegated to the background. same with eunbin but to a lesser degree imo.

Eunbin is a beautiful visual but tbh, she doesn't have a lot of stage presence and I think her eyes look a bit vacant. She doesn't really stand out, no matter which concept they are doing.

Eunbin reminds me a lot of Uee in that regard, aside from them actually looking alike, they both have that dead eyed stare that is a bit distracting. Uee stood out more in AS but Eunbin doesn't stand out as much in CLC.

Black Dress is hands down my fave song from them. Hobgoblin did revive in interest in them. Helicopter is fun to watch but the song itself is lacking a little something.
