Hyoyeon returns to music shows after 3-year hiatus, performs "Dessert" on Music Core

Hyoyeon's last performance on a music show was in 2017 during SNSD's 10th anniversary. She's also the first Soshi member to perform on music shows since Yuri's solo debut in 2018. She only performed "Dessert" today because fans asked her to do so, she said it's a gift to Sones. 😭

I tried watching since the tiktok dances she does with the girls with this song are cute - I was like maybe I’ll give the song another try. Nope the song still sucks to me lol, I couldn’t finish it. But it’s cute she did this for her fans.

Her tiktoks made me like the song, it has grown on me a lot. It's not my favorite song of hers but I listen to it when I work out.

I don't know about her, but Taeyeon (who also hasn't performed on music shows in ages) once said that it's tiring. I assume it's the same for Hyoyeon and the rest of the girls - they've been on these shows for literally a decade when they were idols. Now that they're laying low and releasing music just for fun they don't really need to promote it anymore.

I do know that recently Taeyeon said that she might consider music shows again as a sort of gift for fans, much like Hyoyeon did with this... especially since live concerts are up in the air at the moment.

She was great on Good Girl and seemed much more in her element with the content she was able to perform on that show. And I'm sure the challenge of collaborating with new and old talent fueled that creative performance fire she's always had burning.

as much of a sone i am, i’ve never truly listened to this song as a whole because her releases are just not my cup of tea but i really loved all her tiktok videos with the soshi girls. they never fail to bring a smile on my face. <3

I love her, & this song just ain’t it for me at all, but she’s such a good performer, so I can tolerate listening to it for the performances lol. I really don’t like that Loopy dude; Soyeon & Hyo should have split the rap.

I really don't like this song but I love Hyoyeon and this performance really just reminded me how good of a performer and dancer she is (and she doesn't even go hard on the choreo!) so I'm with the people who accidentally watched this whole because her stage presence wow.
