their outfits are so interchangeable ever since debut, it's like they put on some randomly selected items from a bratz doll's closet. i kinda wish they would do more of a concept-based/matchy kind of look but at the same time it makes me nostalgic for early f(x) and 4minute kind of styling, so i'll allow it.

I'm conflicted. I mostly like their songs but at the same time i'm a bit tired of their 'I'm so confident and cool I don't care about your opinion' concept. But then i'm like, it is important to portray this in Korea but this just seems like it's a bit of the same thing. You can mix up the same idea with a different style.
Well that's why I am conflicted. I do agree with their message but it seems to be packaged in the same way every single time when it comes to the type of song, the dance, the outfits etc. I just feel like there should be a way to get this message across with different concepts.
I don't really follow Lovelyz or WJSN since their debuts so there is not a lot i can say but I'd go ahead and say I have similar thoughts about them (But I don't enjoy the oppa ilysm theme). If you look at groups such as SNSD back in the past, or 2NE1, they always had somewhat of the same viewpoint lyrically but it wasn't always portrayed with the same music or video. As for newer groups I can't say so much but Gfriend seems to be attempting to break their theme now. I would just hope Itzy can grow their message into something that is more diverse.
that's fair. I think they're still establishing ITZY's base in general tho - since this is, what, they're 4th title song? I'm sure with time and once that's settled in they'll branch the girls out more.

First listen, I like the sound so far.. I'll see how it goes.
If I compare to other JYP GG I would rank their output the lowest so far out of the diff groups. Miss A is the group I would actively replay the most. Itzy is kind of shouty and high pitched. I do hope they switch up. I'll say it again: justice for Lia please.
