KBS weird with the uploads this week. The English captions kept disappearing. Some celebrations to celebrate this week. First up is Haoh, and he celebrates his 1000th birthday. Gary prepares a day filled with his favorite things. Then, it’s William’s birthday. Ben is now old enough to help prepare surprises for his big brother. Well, almost lol. With the help of his own kids, Park Hyunbin decides to start a kids’ trot group, and they hold auditions. Yeonwoo and Hayoung are still trying to sell their father’s hoodies, but now their mom has come to help.

There was an interesting mix of cuteness and awkwardness this episode.

Either KBS didn't properly help with the logistics of selling of the hoodies or there was a gross overestimation of their demand. How poorly planned was all of that? It seems you wouldn't have known they were being sold unless you subscribed to his social media account. Just...awkwardness galore.

I may have to side with some of the netizen's remarks about the trot proliferation lol I love listening to it but...yeah. Classic taking a good thing and running it into ground by marketing it in everything, everywhere, every time there's opportunity to do so.

I wonder if the hoodies were all kyungwan's idea? Like he got some attention because of them and immediately thought of making some money out of it, and totally overestimated everything. And then they had to find a fix at the end.

Also, it's damn summer lol! Wrapping yourself and your baby in a $50 hoodie zipped to the top doesn't seem comfortable.

Oh, I definitely think it was all his idea. I’m just amazed that no one seemed to advise him at any point. An undergrad business student would’ve made better business decisions—like not selling hoodies in the dead heat of summer (yes, yes, yes), the outrageous price point, the unwillingness to let that woman purchase 3 hoodies when it was obvious he wasn’t going to sell them all....just bizarre lol

I feel like after this show I've started to be turned off by him. he was good in small doses as the host or when his kids weren't taking half of the showtime. his wife is also pretty endearing in her appearances here but I feel like because of the popularity of his wife he's doing things to prove himself also?

The episodes that chronicled yeonwoo's birth from all those years ago were legit some of my fav moments on the show. But now i can barely watch the family's segments. I still really like yoonjung, but he's totally overcompensating for something. And i feel uncomfortable with all the talk about money. How she makes all the money, how he hides money from her, asking her to pay for his parent's plastic surgery, etc... So much talk about money.

Same here. He started out fine but now I find him the most awkward to watch. I often fast-forward through his segments. I think most of my annoyance comes from the attention being on him rather than the children. It was fine was Yeon Woo was a baby but it’s not a good look now.

same, I just skip most of the family's parts these days. which is a pity because Hayoung is really cute and chatty! I'll be sticking to watching instagram snippets of the kids
