The Album half filled with The Dusty Old Songs. What a weird strategy to go after BTS (specially when ARMY got a list of records they want to break with year) but maybe YG only does that for the clout and will postpone the release ? The girls already waited years, why do that to them ?

I mean it's already delayed considering they announced earlier on that they were releasing the BP album in September. But if they're releasing the album on the same month BTS releases theirs, they're probably trying to bank on fanwars or force BH to delay theirs (which I probably doubt because I don't see BH delaying anything for anybody?)

It doesn't matter how objectively good or bad the album is tho, considering that ppl will hype the shit out of anything. This is why blonks will never get anything better from YG. Why would he put effort to do smth better and more costly if u can have ppl desperate to buy anything no matter how basic and repetitive it is?

Someone commented a while ago (I forgot who it was) that if BP wasn't from YG, they'd never have been hyped like this with the songs they have, or given as many passes. And tbh that is right. Even their best songs are catchy at best, and though they can "grow on you", I'm struggling to come up with any song that I'd be hyped to recommend. And no matter how much people bitch about YG, they clearly aren't that opposed to the company when they keep throwing money at it.

Anyway, I'd rather have Rosé's or Jisoo's solo, not this.

when would their contracts be up? they debuted in what, 2016? Assuming a 7 year contract. they are already over halfway through. I expect YG will give them one EP/basic album at the end to try to placate the girls and convince them to resign. so maybe 2 albums throughout their 7 year contract.

I'll admit I am an Army! I have enjoyed a few of Blackpinks songs. But I have to agree with everyone I want them to be a few weeks earlier or latter then BTS I really don't think it will be pretty with the Fanwars! I am getting a headache just imagining it!
Album Sales would go to BTS, Digital would go to Blackpink and the most watched MV would be Blackpink. So I think the Music shows would be one time BTS wins, then the next Blackpink and the fans will go crazy trying to make their group win!
