Without English translations, the song sounds like a bunch of cringey water puns/word play from what I can gather, but I do like how the beat sounds like it could be a solo song from any one of them.
I see that Simon is continuing to let his forehead free these days. The camera work did not distract me from the fact that Daniel barely danced until the end. I feel like there was choreo for the verses, but he just didn't have time to learn it or something. There are entire shots of just the dancers in dark lighting without Daniel there or shots of him just standing while everyone dances around him. Odd
Jamie's wannabe tough accent in annoying. She gives me ex-Disney channel star vibes, like "look at me, I"m so sassy and edgy...I'm all grown up!" It just seems really unnatural to me. I checked the liner notes, and she has a lyrics credit, so I'm sure she wrote her verse. Her not-quite-a-rap verse was unnecessary, she should have just sang two parts.
mte, i was so confused why daniel didn't dance until the end bc lbr that's what he's best at and choreo is really fun. him just standing around wasn't really doing it for me. a weird choice.
