Who isn’t at least a little bit in love with Kim Soo-hyun? We love him as a bumbling country boy, an alien stranded on Earth, a rookie producer harboring a helpless crush, and now a dedicated caretaker and younger brother. He makes us laugh, cry, and swoon with those intense eyes—how can we pick only ONE Kim Soo-hyun? 😭

P.S Drama titles are on the top right next to the Netflix logo. Shows may not be available in all markets.

I've never seen anything from him before (I've only been a regular Kdrama watcher for a year or so now), but he has really impressed me in Psycho But It's Okay. Clearly a very talented actor. What else can y'all recommend me from him?

is his latest really good? the two leads are so good-looking and i've seen people raving about it but i'm usually not a big fan of kdramas revolving around mental health & romance, i feel like they can quickly romanticize mental health problems :/

They kinda do sometimes in a way with the main character? But a lot of it is also quite honest and well done imho.

It's probably one of the bets drama I've watched
Seo Ye-ji is simply amazing
and they actually handled mental health issue better than I expected

I'd say the vast major of the mental health stuff is handled with care and respect. The trauma and mental health problems/disabilities of the three main characters in particular are given aducate depth and attention. I was apprehensive about this too for the exact reasons you mentioned, but I've been proven wrong! As someone with a past of mental issues of her own I've found myself really connecting with Kim Soohyun's character over it.

oh that sounds comforting! thank you! i think i'll wait for the drama to end to decide to watch, but i'm happy to read they're dealing with it in a respectful way and not as a way to make the leads quirky/interesting or needing to be saved by a person without mental health problems/disabilities

I was into him in My Love... and his most recent. He was alright in Producers. Tragic in Dream High, but everything was tragic (yet entertaining) about that one.

His costars/love interests in the above were amazing too, though, which I’m sure played a part.

He looks like such a baby in Moon embracing the sun. I can’t believe how much time has passed.

I am still yet to watch Dream High and I doubt I ever will at this rate because I've seen and heard enough about that drama...However, I have watched KSH in The Producers and MLFTS. I preferred him in the latter to the former. I'd say he's pretty likable as an actor and he's able to get into character well enough. I may just check out his most recent drama once it finishes.

he aged so much but i love it tbh. like, he has fine lines and it looks good, vs the rest of his peers who are shiny and stretched to death. lost the babyface but is still stunning

i didn't watch some of his earliest projects but other than that i managed to follow his career pretty closely without wanting to.
i'm biased but my pick is going to be dream high. that drama was very rough around the edges but had a very vivid charm to it. ksh acting was just so honest and simple in it that i will never be able to forget song sam dong.
i'm glad that stars aligned and he is acting with syj in "it's okay..." as i really like them both and even plot aside i really enjoy seeing them flexing their acting talents next to each other. he is a really good crier!
