SYNOPSIS: A story about a man employed in a psychiatric ward and a woman, with an antisocial personality disorder, who is a popular writer of children's books.

Moon Kang-Tae (Kim Soo-Hyun) works in the psychiatric ward. His job is to write down the patients' conditions and to deal with unexpected situations, like if patients fight or they run away. He only earns about 1.8 million won (~$1,600 USD) a month. The woman (Seo Ye-Ji) is a popular writer of children's literature, but she is extremely selfish, arrogant and rude.

I could write an essay but I'll keep it at: this show is doing so well with the themes and characters it has. Very well acted and even better written. I was a bit skeptical at first if the show would be able to handle mental illnesses well, considering this is a Kdrama, but it's doing so beyond my expectations. I find my own experiences actively being played out on screen in all it's real life nuances. It's nice to recover from the horrible mess of The King with this one!

Episode 9 is coming and then we're gonna cry (I already cry a lot)
But you know what I mean


My only issue is that I love this show, the actors, the chemistry but while things happens at a small scale, I feel like the larger plot (both moms deaths) isn't going anywhere?
Is the dad the real vilain? is the mom really dead?

I almost forgot about the butterflies and what they have to do with the mom's murder. I have so many questions about MY's mom. I'm certain she is alive but why doesn't she want to be recognized?

I actually think it's good that Mun-yeong kills butterfly, she will somehow protect sang tae you know?
Mang Tae doesn't catch butterfly but Mun-yeong does

I just love every scene with MY and GT. I'm worried about Sang Tae not handling his brother's new relationship well. It's good that he has a job but I'm starting to think Sang Tae is aware that he may never find love. I still don't care about Juri lol.

I cried so much in episode 7. Ugh. KT realizing his mother cared for him, too, was such an emoitonal release..

I really hope the last half of the drama lives up to the first half. I'm gonna be so pissed if it doesn't. Nearly everything has been pitch perfect. Oh Jung-se should get 18 million awards. I could rewatch ST and MY's pillow fight over and over lol
