Personally I didn’t really see it with Gfriend initially as a lot of groups have done this type of move without referencing anything, but I’ll keep a look out on the move with the whole context

But with Pink Fantasy it stood out to me more as the music fits a specific ‘exotic’ stereotype, especially with their latest trailer

lmao no, I get it. GGs doing CA has been very iffy lately so its a bit alarming. I genuinely think its part of the witchey vibe they are trying to portray + the apple tree depiction.

I'm not desi though, so I can't really say if its a thing or nah.

I loved ‘Fantasy’, one of my fave 2019 releases and I was excited to see a group releasing a sound similar to Dreamcatcher (the more the merrier!) but I’m guessing that was a one-off thing now

Ok I saw the previous post, it confirmed both that culture appropriation was a issue from the get go lol and there are members missing. I know two members left, two aren’t a part of this comeback, and the bunny head girl isn’t included (I’m guessing since she doesn’t fit the concept) so idk why they didn’t call this a subunit? Also they could’ve shrunk a lot as a group and their company doesn’t want to announce that 😬

Ok I see the members not participating using their group related IGs so maybe not lol, Yechan and Daewang were rooting and promoting for their group, it’s just Yubeen who hasn’t really said anything related to the group’s comeback. She seems more focused on her selfies and streaming lol. Daewang has fun with that mascot head on her IG I see, her posing with her meals is kinda cute
