Hmmm. I think I expected it to be better, especially now that it was so late. Irene looks fucking stunning but the song and choreo are a little lackluster. Seulgi has way more presence than Irene but they did her dirty with that eyeliner. I love all their outfits tho. Hopefully the song grow on me

The MV definitely elevates the song for me. I really liked all of the makeup looks, specially Seulgi's smokey eye with nude lips.

The whole mini is pretty solid imo, but RV have great b-sides most of the time after all.

I guess it could tie in with the lyrics, but they were a bit heavy handed with the skinship. And that monster face CGI was completely unnecessary, lmao.

But everything else is great and the girls look fantastic. I love the song and the choreo looks promising. I'm also really pleasantly surprised by Irene. She always carries out her role within Red Velvet well enough, but I wasn't sure what to expect from her as half of a two-person unit. She really held her own, though, and the stronger concept suits her.

Congratulations, the shitty visual effects is just as bad as Twice’s MVs. They did Irene wrong with that devil picsart effect lmao! But I looooove dark RV, they always release bops and Seulgi always comes dominant on these “Red” concepts! Is this a red concept? Help me reveluvs! After countless years I can say I’m distante fan of RV, minus Wendy obvs, but her and Joy’s voices harmonizing with Seulgi is very missed here. Also have to commend Irene bc she looks fully committed to the performance here and does a great combo with Seulgi. I also love how they put emphasis on being “little” monsters, bc both are small height, so cute.

That monster head was so weird and unecessary lmao. I hope they didn't delayed the MV for that because that's a miss, they could have done so much more to lean into horror/disturbing (as Nature's Girls just showed).
This aside, I really liked the aesthetics, styling, make up choices. They look amazing. Seulgi is super charismatic
