SYNOPSIS: A story about a man employed in a psychiatric ward and a woman, with an antisocial personality disorder, who is a popular writer of children's books.

Moon Kang-Tae (Kim Soo-Hyun) works in the psychiatric ward. His job is to write down the patients' conditions and to deal with unexpected situations, like if patients fight or they run away. He only earns about 1.8 million won (~$1,600 USD) a month. The woman (Seo Ye-Ji) is a popular writer of children's literature, but she is extremely selfish, arrogant and rude.

Haven't been this in love with a drama since Tale of Nokdu.

Moonyoung is such a hard character to like sometimes and especially these two episodes when she kept stomping over GangTae's boundaries.The scenes with her dream of her mother, the sleep paralysis and her sobbing were genuinely heartbreaking though.I'm looking forward to seeing how everything develops.

The scenes with young GangTae blowing up at his mother and then the near-drowning-oof.Makes a lot more sense now of why he carries so much guilt and his co-dependent nature, I don't think he ever forgave himself for even considering letting his brother drown

And I 100% believe Moonyoung's dad was somehow involved in the death of their mom

yeah using sang-tae to force KT to live in her house was something else. i wonder if her mom is truly dead or MY just thinks she can be alive bc of her nightmares. her dad def killed or tried to kill someone.

I get that they're using it to set up character development because SangTae does need to build some independence from Gangtae and it could lead to something positive but we know that's not what she cared about. I feel like that should have led to a more serious fallout in her and GangTae's interactions.

The mom thing is a mystery.I think she might be alive because I remember the earlier episode where she says shes an orphan and one of the publishing house people say something about her mother.But then again, the bookstore she was at for the fansign showed a copy of her mother's book and called it a posthumous work

I like to think that she actually had a conversation with Sang Tae before coming up with that fake ass contract. Later she talks about him wanting the van and seems to be that, despite her f*cked up reasoning to get KT to live with her, she was willing to actually pay Sang Tae for his work. MY behaviour is only understandable because of her disorder, besides that... nope.

Can we please talk about Seo Ye Ji's waist? I don't know that I've ever seen that small of a waist in my entire life. Then she turned sideways and it got even smaller. It makes me uncomfortable honestly given what we know about the industry..... That pink outfit was wild.

Honestly it's been a pretty slow show so far. Like, I'll watch it cuz the leads are so fucking HOT but not much has really happened or progressed and it's over 1/3 over. I am super unsure of where it's going to go but I am enjoying it regardless since the BEAUTY IS UNREAL!!!

I was talking to u_know about it but omg the scene were GT got jealous when the CEO called MY his man was hilarious and cute lol. KSH does so much for me.

I'm not sold on the romance yet. I really hate how forceful the FL was the first 5 episodes, she is super manipulative and it's disgusting. If this was the other way around, there would be a total uproar. I don't think someone's personality disorder excuses that kind of shit. She was blatantly sexually harassing him and then getting the brother to move in with her was.... no. Why can't they just let me enjoy this hot couple PLS

Yeah, like he said NO explicitly so many times that I find whatever weird reasoning people online are saying about how he likes her but just cant admit it or whatever... to be a fucking reach. Like seriously people, imagine saying that in any other context?! Not okay. Even in the last hugging scene, I didn't get "romantic" from it. It was like she was another patient he was hugging. Like he cares for her but I still don't see any reciprocation besides him getting jealous with the CEO. It's soooooooo questionable.

it's a slow show but i don't feel it? probably because the acting from the main cast is really good and ksh and syj have great chemistry. i really like the production on this show.

About Seo Ye Ji weight, yep, that bothered me, but I saw some clips from her years ago and she looks just as skinny, with very skinny legs. She seems to be just like that and her personality is amazing. I recomend her Knowing Bros episode.

I love the aesthetics of this show but the story has been letting me down tbqh, I havent even watched epi 6 (read all the spoilers and plot summary tho). Idk what I was expecting but it's been too slow for me and more on the romantic side and I'm not very keen on romance driven dramas. I feel like it's going for the "love heals all" ending and I'm MEH about it.
Not sure if I find their depiction of mental illness that deep or if they're bringing a fresh perspective at all. There are a bunch of patients in the hospital that are just walking stereotypes.
Idk probably just going to put it on hold and only bring myself to watch if something interesting happens.

It’s entertaining and they are gorgeous. I love his wet curly hair. Her silky voice is everything.

I do wish dramas would stop glorifying not taking no for an answer. If I didn’t know better I’d think harassing someone was the way to make them fall in love.
