Rose is my new favorite, she always puts her full energy into the performances. Also, I was surprised at their win encore today, all 4 of them sounded the same live. I didnt expect it esp from Jisoo.

yes they only had one win so its the same one! jenny sounded the worst. they arent all that talented as singers and rappers obv but even for kpop, a lot of these groups are seriously awful live. like i looove them but the twice and itZy encores are always.... to be fair, and I think people don't consider this enough, Blackpink's songs are waaaayyyy easier to sing than Twice or Itzy's. You could tell in the Wannabe encores that they were struggling with how high it was, otherwise they sounded fine.
HYLT is super easy to sing, it's all in a very narrow, comfortable range.
Yeah but shouldnt singers (esp idols who a lot of the time can barely sing) sing in their range? Thats one thing YG and SM are doing right at least by writing these songs in the correct range for their artists. I know lip synching is part of the deal but if you’re a singer in a group and cant even sing your 1-2 lines in a song, like...
well this is something I've long criticised JYP (and Bighit) for, their songs are all really, really high. It's a sound they prefer and are known for I guess. It's a shitty thing to do to their vocalists but they just...keep doing it.

agreed. rose and lisa seem to be the ones that carry their performances. i understand having members who aren't really interested in performing in a big number group though but if it's only 4 members i feel like all of the members should be into performing since the difference is more visible in a smaller group
I don't understand why YG ignore Rose, she is pretty much all rounder in terms of dance, voice and charisma and somehow she has the least visibility in the group, at this point I think they doing it on purpose.

Yeah. I was surprised too. The doll don't look that ugly if thier online pics are really the product you get (compared to the BTS doll monstrosities), but the pillow looks really crappy in person. Not worth $15, even if you are a BP stan.

Im LOLing at the still of this video, which is their final pose of the song. It says so much, you can tell who is in it till the end. Look at Lisa and Rose's body lines. Straight legs and upper body popping on that twist, expressions fierce. The other two have more bent/relaxed poses.

The best part of the choreo is the entirety of the first verse/prechorus and the pre-chorus in the second verse. The moves during the chorus don't match because each girl's doing something different and then hunched stomping bit during the chorus is just ???A lot of it feels very posing on beat

I actually love the styling here than the whole MV put together. They look more fierce in black hot pants and simple tops. Their hair also looks good here. Why could this not have been the MV plus close up shots of the girls in gowns?
