First, we would like to apologize for causing concern to many people through the events related to Jimin that have been unfolding recently.

From this moment forth, Jimin has decided to leave AOA and halt all of her activities in the entertainment industry.

Moreover, I'm most concerned about Mina and wish we could hear an account from a different member. That Choa has stayed following the others and Mina had too has me wondering about the group dynamic. Did they turn on Mina or did she feel cornered because they said nothing and were just there?

Mina's my main emotional priority tho. And as a day 1 elvis I just....I've been hear since the posts about their pre-debut flash mob you know? AOA music is so ingrained into my brain and heart that I'm just left speechless at all of these events. I really just want Choa and Mina to be safe and happy and I'm unsure as to what to make of the rest of the members and how much power they had and the general group dynamic

seolhyun's under fire for being perceived as being close to jimin: she was the other one involved in the korean history controversy, and they apparently having matching tattoos. If she can get around that then she's probably perfectly set to continue straight into. Hyejeong can probably go a Soyou route. Yuna has a producing name so she could potentially put her energy into that and go into more BTS work with maybe an occasional OST. Chanmi though - idk.

Honestly? Though Jimin probably doesn't see it that way, this is probably for the best for her too. Without diagnosing someone I don't know, she's clearly been suffering with some kind of pressure for a while - she claims she's fine with her weight loss, and she probably is, but I don't think it and her sudden increase in facial surgeries are healthy. Some time out of the limelight might in the long term help her to rethink her priorities and think back on the way she acted and hopefully come to a better conclusion. I mean, it probably won't happen that way, but I want to hope that she can get to a place where she won't be putting any more harm into the world.

Regardless of that, I hope Mina can get to a place where she isn't waiting on a decent apology and reflection from Jimin. Learning that I wasn't going to get that closure from my abuser(s) was tough, but also an important step towards my happiness.

I think Jimin will still unfortunately have a career. Its a shame that the group is done now without her. To me SK just doesn't care about bullying and an empty 'I'm sorry' especially from somebody popular is all it takes. I hope Mina gets support from those close to her and that she can heal without needing a proper and real apology bc it is never gonna happen from Jimin.
