Lisa's eyebrow and anti eyebrow piercings look photoshopped. Like obviously they're not real, but at least when Renjun and Haechan had them they glued them on...

I'm fascinated by this group and not because of their music or them (they're pretty but they all are pretty). I know it was already discussed and I just ramble but I don't know people who are into k-pop as OMONA.
4 years since their debut and they will only release their first album this year. They're still really popular when they should have fallen into oblivion. Coachella, the whitest passport to stardom you could wished for, a Lady Gaga collab which could have been amazing if it wasn't written by feet. WHAT IS THE MAGIC TRICK? Their label seems to be the worst, they don't care about them but it doesn't matter?
I can't stop thinking how huge they could have become if they had the overworking label others Korean groups have.
I read about how lucky BTS got and how they were here at the right place at the right time (but didn't they struggle until Wings?) but at least they work all the time and seem to be aware of their lifespan as a group. Blackpink are already in their mid 20s and don't have a lot under their belt, what are they going to do to stay successful? They can dance, but others dance better, they can sing but don't have unforgettable voices, do they compose? Do they have a magic talent we don't know about? Baby girlsbands are already growing in the trainee pool of less shady (well less than YG) labels, it's so mind blowing how they are wasted when they could easily bring the big bucks. Even if the misogynistic pig who run YG hates women, he's still a businessman.

I feel like due to YGs branding as a "family" he's gotten people to stan everything that YG releases, every "product" and it doesn't matter so much what the group itself is or doing. and BTS weren't struggling that much before Wings, just not as well known in the West. The fact that One Direction broke up helped though because fans could jump from the directioner fandom to army

BTS weren't struggling but they also weren't a top tier group (like EXO) before BST. That song really put their career on another level, especially in the west.

YG stans but also imo they are the least kpop GG of the GGs if that makes sense. They kinda fit a more western vibe so i think thats why their intl fandom is huge. Plus theyre beautiful lbr, their visuals carry most of their popularity

They don't have the cute pop sound or look that most K-Pop GGs have plus 3 out of the 4 members are fluent in English. It also helps that their songs are either easy to sing-a-long for non-korean speakers or have many english lines.

I think Itzy are still too young for global fame, the oldest member just turned 20 while the youngest is still underage. They still need a few years to grow into their sound and style.
Somi... yeah. She could have just waited another few months until Itzy's debut but instead she choose to debut as a solo. Now she's got to live with being stuck in YG's basement and only having one solo our while Itzy are already on their third song.

I'm not into these teasers as much as the other ones but I'm still intrigued. I actually really like the colours, and tbh I enjoy seeing the 'fashion-y' stuff that BP do. I appreciate aesthetics so I like that about them.

Just really hoping we don't get an abrasive sounding classic Teddy album.
