Boys Over Flowers is one of the biggest Korean drama hits of our time, sweeping ratings and awards across Asia in 2009 and 2010. This Korean take on the popular Japanese manga of the same name, tackles complex issues involving outcasts, socio-economic disparity, family, love, and friendship. Jan Di is an average girl whose family owns a dry cleaning store located near the luxurious and well known Shin Hwa High School. After saving a boy from jumping off the roof of Shin Hwa High School, Jan Di is admitted into the school on a swimming scholarship. At school, Jan Di tries to avoid confrontation with the four richest and most spoiled boys known as the F4, because she knows what happens to those that stand against them. However, when Jan Di's friend, Oh Min Ji, accidentally gets ice cream on the leader of the F4's shoes, she's forced to declare war on the leader of the F4, Goo Joon Pyo. What will happen though, when she falls in love with someone from the F4 and Goo Joon Pyo starts feeling something for her too? Will the love triangle disrupt F4 and change their lives forever? Get ready for addictive drama, romance and comedy at it best.

The more I see Jihoo being nice to Jandi, the more annoyed I get because YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME BOY.

Yisung’s dad is greasy and creepy and so much ewwwww! But oh little baby Moonbin! I just got into Astro this last comeback! This is how freaking old this series is, young Yisung is now grown and on stage doing all the body rolls and floor humping. 2020 Moonbin does resemble 2009 Kim Bum a little. Brb, gonna check something real fast.

First Jihoon, now Yisung…all of the F4’s first loves are so pretty and sweet!

Jandi is so stupid for keeping on going on these trips with them rich people. She almost dies like every time.

Jandi’s parents really said “fuck them kids” lol.

Junpyo going to see Yisung and asking him what happened to him and his hand, and then IMMEDITAELY getting sidetracked and making it all about Jandi made me LOL. Your bbf is trying to tell you his life is over wtf and he didn’t care at all. At least Yisung called him out on his tantrums lol.

Just when I thought that Junpyo was getting a conscience and leaving Jandi alone, HE MOVES NEXT DOOR?!? I mean, what did I expect?

Me too when Jun Pyo goes to Yi sung! 1st, it's the first time he conforts a friend, 2nd he leaves him alone after talking about Jan Di. Looking back, I don't think he has ever done something for his friends.

Yes, he's done nothing for them! Even in the flashbacks as kids. And yet there they are, always ready to back him up to save Jandi or whatever mess he's in.

You know, this made me realize that F4 are probably friends just because they're from the richest families in SK not because they're actually close. But then again, it could mostly just be that Jun Pyo sucks both at feelings and being a decent friend human being. It's wild how the rest of F4 are so ready to rush in and help Jun Pyo whenever there is a problem and yet this is the first time that he steps up to the plate to try to be a decent friend and can barely even do that without making it about himself OTL

Oh yeah totally. I think junpyo's mom talked about how the people around him should be on his level/class. And she prolly handpicked the other three boys. The other three seem to be (most definitely woo bin and yisung) closer friends to each other.

Must suck for Jun Pyo to not have actual friends, but with his kind of background...It is not even surprising at this point. Woo Bin and Yi Jung are definitely closer to each other for sure. Ji Hoo is literally just kind of there in the middle because he's not really here nor there.

I love how in just 10 years technology has come so far that this show seems ancient, those phones were pretty much the newest model in -09 and they're pretty much antique now lmao

Jae Kyung is adorable and deserves better.

I hated Ji Hoo's hair as a mop and I hate it now as a helmet, there's no winning here.

We get one small Woo Bin related plotline and he's walking on the wrong ledge. There's no reason for Yi Jung to be so worried about him falling, he'll either end up on the sidewalk or the car lane...

This show is making it seem like Yi Jung has no other home besides his (small one room) studio, surely he sleeps in an actual bed somewhere...
Speaking of homes, I really like Jan Di's new apartment. But of course Jun Pyo has to ruin everything. He knows his mother will make Jan Di's life a living hell and yet he keeps following her around like wtf dude just stay home

Woo Bin continues to be the only worthwhile guy in F4, he looks out for his friends and reaches out to ask how they're doing.

Not an episode goes by where i make a comment under my breath about his damn helmet hair lol.

I wish we had more woobin plotlines too. We only really see him beating up people. Although I'm kinda into watching him and the mafia underlings beating up people who smashed yijung's hand lol.
