Honestly this mini is fantastic, WJSN is joining Red Velvet for me when it comes to girl groups with great b-sides. I really like each track!! I do think Butterfly isn’t one of their stand out title tracks, but it sounds a lot better on streaming.
Hola and Pantomime are great especially!! And Our Garden subverted my expectation of a slow ballad at the end, I like it a lot as that is a type of sound I’m weak for.
Oh thank god I like every other track on here better than the single. ;____; I was worried. Hola is a jam and I even really liked Our Garden, which is extra impressive because I hardly ever give ballads more than one listen. Lights Up off the last mini is one of the rare ballads I have played to DEATH.
Still hoping Butterfly will grow on me. Also hoping for SO MANY pretty album photos. I want them to make it hard for me to pick one!
HOLA is such a blast, I think it could have easily been a single. I'm not too found of the cheerleader part in the bridge but everything else is fire ! Pantomine really took me by surprise? The way the pre-chorus lands in the chorus is really NOT what I expected. And the new section after the 3 minutes mark, what was that? I'm so confused, I love it. Where You Are is my kind of sweet pop track with heavy strings, but it doesn't feel like a Secret follow-up. They all sound really good on it. Clearly a fave for me because I'm so biased for this sound lol Tra-la was a little trendier but I still enjoyed it. Omg I love Our Garden ? It's rare that a ballad is a stand-out right from the start for me, they usually have to grow on me, or for me to be in the right mood. But it's just so pretty ?
Overall, very solid mini album, which quickly eclipse Butterfly :') I hope people will give their bsides a go, I think their releases have been very solid since WJ Please but they aren't mentioned as much as other groups when it comes to bsides talks

Seriously! Their bsides in the last few albums have been really delivering, people shouldnt sleep on them!
"hola" is d so high energy; it's great. idk if i'd want it as a title track, though? "pantomime" is that song. it's so damn good, lol. that key change at the end was unexpected. "where you are" would've been a good title track tbh. it fits in well with their other titles in terms of sound. "tra-la" is fine. i don't hate it but it feels like filler to me. "our garden" is really dreamy! i like it a lot.

I wish I liked Butterfly more than I do. It’s not a bad song but just not as dreamy as I was wishing it was and what WJSN has given us in the past. Our Garden is one of my favorites and I think we can all agree that HOLA should have been the comeback track lol. Pantomime gives me SNSD Japanese release teas while still keeping their sound and I love everything about that.
