It’s cute, though as of this moment no strong feelings for it 😅 I really like the lyrics, that was the highlight for me. So overall I like it but while pretty, it is kinda boring. Same can be said for the MV.

She looks lovely and got decent line distribution this time. She still dances at the far sides a bit too much for my personal liking but that might be for her own personal comfort given her prior panic disorder so I'm pleased overall.
It's ok! It's not among my favourite tracks by them but it could chart well for them. It's jumped to number 40 on melon, 3 on bugs so that's a good start. The melody kind of stays within a very small range but I'm glad that they used that to do something a little different with their line distribution, everyone got whole sections rather than a throwaway line here or there for the subvocals and multiple chorus sections for the main vocals.
hmm the choreo feels pretty uninspired, even with 10 members it seems like Starship still doesn't know how to utilise proper formations and choreo for them
the line distribution is great (except maybe Eunseo and Yeoreum didn't really get much)! it seems like everybody got to have centre parts too, which is nice. Dawon and Bona looking great here too.
the song sadly doesn't excite me that much, and it felt a bit repetitive. but I do like the verses though. hopefully more listens will make me like it better
they all look and sound great! but the song and mv leave much to be desired. where was the budget?? where were the mystical and magical backdrops??? they had such a boring plain yellow set piece.

also the instrumental sounds like royalty-free music someone may use for youtube videos and WJSN usually have stellar title tracks that have a lot of depth. wtf happened :/ it's FAR from bad, but it's not up to their standard. starship better stop playin around.
compared to as you wish this is so bland. also in terms of the mv, where are their often amazing mv visuals? the chorus is so uninventive too, though i liked the lyrics.
the styling was nice though, i liked some of the dresses and makeup looks.
Yea the MV is doing that thing I really don’t care for in kpop, it’s visually pleasing but feels shallow or empty. IZ*ONE and Red Velvet’s last MVs comes to mind, it’s pretty but I don’t really feel anything when I watch it

Funny you mention IZ*ONE because when I was watching the MV, I thought to myself "Huh .. in a way, this is very IZ*ONE" but I couldn't figure out why. So thanks for making me realize what exactly it is!
Being so in love with WJSN and having their last mini be god tier for me has set me up for disappointment here.... and I am a bit disappointed. It doesn't help that this sounds kind of 80s and I really don't care for 80s sound (unpopular opinion I know). This doesn't really have that WJSN sound. It sounds like something another gg would do. Even the MV was so...empty for them.
Like don't get me wrong, everyone is beautiful and I love love love them and I'm sincerely hoping this will grow on me. I especially hope I like the rest of the songs. Fingers crossed!!
I totally agree on the IZ*ONE comment. I don't really follow them but I have given each track a listen and this reminded me of them as well. Even the MV made me think of them a bit. Butterfly will probably make my playlist a bit but probably won't be one that sticks around long or that I come back to all the time like so many previous WJSN tracks. I'm SO GLAD I love all the other songs on the mini <3 They're all great!

She is a main vocalist but...Yeonjung has been their go to since she got thrown into the group. Even usually they have her split them with Soobin in a way...but here it’s just Soobin. The smaller usage of her and Seola was something. Yeoreum and Bona did more than five words so I guess their fans will be happy. It’s okay. Another okay but not inspiring release for 2020 I guess
The MV... where did all their budget go ? The dancing sets are basically voids with colored lights to make it feel a little different. The glamour shots are nice but not really inventive. I always get in WJSN MVs with expectations since they released so many beautiful videos, this sadly isn't on par with the rest :/ The girls all look absolutely gorgeous as always though, and I love the capes!
Not going to lie, I love these upbeat, sunny, uplifting dance tracks. It's a lot poppier than I expected from their teasers and I'm certainely going to play this a lot during the summer !!! Just straight-forward fun. But I'm also quite underwhelmed by it at the same time ? First, it lacks the kind of impact other singles of them do ? The melody is very one-note, there isn't a proper climax (unlike As You Wish, I love its climax so much) or a bridge that completely switches the feel of the song (like Dreams Come True, I wasn't sold until that bridge basically changed everything I felt about the song lol). It might be their best line distribution to date, I love how they all had specific sections and not some quick sentences boucing back from each other. But I'm not sure what's happening with the vocal processing here because they all sound really similar ? They have a diverse set of vocalists, and I'm usually good at telling the main vocalists from one another but without the video or subtitles, I'm lost this time lol. I still really enjoy the song !

i love the switch-up too; although they start and finish with seola as always, eunseo and bona get a verse and a chorus, luda and yeoreum get a chorus, dawon gets HELLA LINES, soobin gets lines and a high note--a+ for that change! here for it!
