My favorite memory is seeing them live at KCON! They had so much energy and really knew how to draw the crowd into the performance. I only followed them very casually so I didn't know much outside of their hits but I had a great time. Carats have such pretty light sticks! We were all screaming and dancing during Very Nice lol. I was saying beforehand I would be really happy if they played it and they closed with it! I played the song on my phone outside the venue afterward and everyone started dancing again. (Ugh, I love live music so much, I can't wait until it's safe to go to concerts again!)

i live in europe so i've never actually had the chance of seeing them in person but i've been a fan since debut and my favorite memories have got to be following the adore u/mansae promos (they were so energetic and charming back then! they still are now but in different ways) and the fan meetings (caratland 2020 when) esp the reverse unit stages and rolling papers from 2017.

as for favorite title tracks, they have yet to top mansae and pretty u for me but thanks, callx3 and home are also really good and all-time favorites for sure. their b-sides otoh have come a long way (an ode is probably my favorite album of theirs) and lie again might become my new favorite in the near future, pinwheel is still holding onto the #1 spot as of now but its days might be numbered. still waiting for that vocal unit album since they haven't let me down even once, i love all their songs.

ANYWAY, i wanted to post some of my favorite performances since that's what initially drew me to the group* but it's late and i'm lazy so i'll just post this one video. i have a soft spot for just do it, it's such a fun song, and i think the o13 version is so cute.


*crazy how they not only have the best dancers in kpop, but also the best stage presence, comedic talent and two of the best 3rd gen vocalists? like damn seventeen, leave some charm for the other boy groups, they're barely getting by!!!!!

I can't believe it has been five years already. I have made some amazing friends on omona thru being a fan of svt. They are actually the first group I have followed since debut in all my years of listening to kpop. Adore U holds a special place in my heart. When the chorus hit, I knew there was something special about these boys. I have been very fortunate to see them multiple times in concert with Ode to You in LA being the most recent. That concert was so much fun and I can't wait to see them again.

happy 5th anniversary to my favorite group!!

one of my favorite releases was mansae. it was their second release ever, and i was nervous wondering what they would follow up with after adore u, and they delivered with a bop! mansae reminds me of carefree days and happiness (◡‿◡✿) (but i was in school so i was NOT carefree and happy at the time LOL) some of my other top releases: very nice, don't wanna cry, getting closer, fear. and some of my favorite b-sides: hit song, my i, change up, good to me.

And happy 5th anniversary to our boys~~~ I can't stress enough how much these 13 people have helped me get through life.

I remember seeing 17 TV stuff waaaaaaay back in the day, looking at that tiny Samuel and going "yeahhhhhhh no, i cant stan a group with a literal child in it". So I left them in the back of my mind and focused on SHINee, only watching some random youtube clips.
Then Sammy left, the pre-debut show happened, Adore U happened, and I was hooked line and sink from the first "Slip into the diamond life" lol And I'm so glad I accepted them at that time, because they truly helped me get through the worst 2 years of my life. I basically own my Master's degree to them and SHINee lol

For favorite memories, my personal favorite one was getting sung to directly by Gyu, Jun and DK in their Hello performance at Yokohama in 2018, then getting a rose from Jun ahuahuahuaahu As soon as the lights went out, me and the Japanese ladies that got the other flowers just crumbled in our seats at the same time rofl I made some petals intro a pressed flower bookmark, and it have the wrapping ribbon on my desk everyday hahahaha XD And I still get shaky every time i hear that song, its like a Pavlovian reaction lol

For general favorite songs and memories, I love all about the Don't Wanna Cry comeback. I was in a really good place in life when the comeback happened, the music, the dance and the styling were 100% my taste, everything was just great!



Adore U also is a top contender, I specially love the part switch MV lol
