Whilst I've always thought Baekhyun was a passionate performer, I was kind of taken aback when he suddenly slid into the dance-line status with getting dance solos in EXO performances and then being surrounded by all the dancers in SuperM. I think people confuse his 'passion' with actual technique. He's got a groove yes, but he's still kind of stiff because he's not a natural at dancing but he's improving.
He truly is the new king of K-R&B! The album is very solid as well, I love that this is his sound now. It fits him and it works.

Underwater,simply beautiful. His vocals on this track alone (this whole album, honestly, the way he plays with his voice... we stan.)
Poppin', a follow-up to Betcha and while it's not bad. He does some cool things with his vocals and whatnot. It's the weakest song for the album for me.
Ghost, the instrumental carries this song. It's a decent tune.
Love Again, much like Bungee it's very DEAN-esque. Which is not a bad thing. A lovely track and closer to the mini.
All in all another good album. Still shook at Baekyun being a solid Pop-R&B artist, I always thought he would go the ballad route. Happy regardless with the result.
And Candy is a bop! It's fun, playful and vibey. But still showcases his vocals nicely. Solid title track.

Vocal and dancing king!! Candy and the whole album are amazing and I’m soo happy he’s doing well ! Seriously Yixing, Jongdae, Junmyeon, Chanyeol and Baek gave us some HQ music this year as expected just like Jongdae and SC last year and ofc the solos by Kyungsoo and Minseok , EXO soloists and subunits always deliver (just waiting for Jongin’s future bops) !
this was way more dancing than I was expecting tbh though the choreo looks straight out of tiktok and this is the second (third?) time coming from an SM artist plz dont make this a trend for you SM

lmao i definitely see the dean inspo here, but like dean's aesthetic isn't unique? im liking baekhyun's music a lot more this time around. i still feel like he hasn't figured out his sound/image idk just doesn't feel 100% him.
i really like his other songs so it would be cool if he did a mv for one more song.
I definitely feel the Dean vibes in this, but as you said so accurately, Dean's aesthetic isn't unique lol XD I was saying earlier that I wouldn't have really associated this sound to Baekhyun's image. Whilst he does sound good as expected, it's something I could probably see another member doing. He's making it work but I guess he's still in the process of finding what suits him best.
