The song was dragging as I watched the MV, but I pulled up on Spotify and it does sound better.
The MV is fascinating, I would've chose some different creative choices personally but I find it interesting regardless, which is a success from the company at least.
I do like Bomb a lot more so far but this isn’t bad. I enjoy the chorus and pre chorus. But the sing-talking parts really bring the song down, like the middle could’ve be shortened
So far this release is a B- (maybe even C+) but I bet the performances will elevate it :) looking forward to it!
This sounds so similar to bomb, but i liked bomb better. I wish she had done something different, she can really dance too so it would be good to show some versatility in the song and styling.
first impression is a downgraded version of bomb. it doesn't quite come together for me, but maybe with repeated listens.
she seems to have a very defined image/concept going with both of her releases so far, and i'm conflicted. i like that it's different from what others are doing but it's going to get boring quickly if she doesn't change it up. and the concept itself... can't figure out if i like how earnestly cheesy it is or if it's just cringeworthy.
on the plus side, that gold outfit was really cool and she's gorgeous as ever
love the music video and dancing; one of the most interesting kpop mvs in a while. a lot of them have been repetitive lately and just flashy imagery and choreo. at least it seems like she has a storyline and a universe like loona for example. also thought her acting was pretty good too. i agree that bomb is better but i feel like a live performance will sell it for me
I dunno why but this weirdly reminds me of Chad Future? Like this is what Chad Future thinks his music is like in his own little world. I would've liked this song in 2010, and I prefer Bomb.
I'm not into the song but I like that she's got her identity/concept and continuity with the previous mv, although I would be open to see more variety and what she can offer. She seems like a strong performer. It's not easy being solo. Wishing her the best.
