the water shots have got to be my favorite. this is such a gorgeous mv. i'll be honest...i haven't listened to this song while actually paying attention to it till now but this mv made me realize that it sounds very badu-esque and so it's quickly moved to the top for me now lol
I like how this song/mv are pretty much polar opposites of her 'Yellow' release. Yellow was very "in your face" and aggressive with its lyrics and production, and also the dominant colours in the mv are black and red which are 'strong/bold' colours. Here in Mong the aesthethic is filled with pastels and a dream-like quality, and the song uses very calming sounds like water and flutes, while the lyrics show a more vulnerable perspective.
