I love them, I really do, but the fact that they call themselves "BIG BAM" will annoy me till the end of time.
I mean YG's got some native English speakers running around (Danny, I'm looking at you), they debuted in 06 and no one has made an effort to correct them.
i've actually noticed that they will interchangeably say Big Bang and sometimes pronunciation is a little off and it comes out as Big Bam. But they know how to say their name correctly..I've watched thousands of videos and they've always said Big Bang.
Off topic, but that has got to be one of my fave Big Bang live performances ever. It was also nice to hear Daesung rap.
I became a fan initially because of how impressed I was with their concerts/live performance skills. I love how they have a basic idea for the choreography, but their not bound by it and sort of all do their own thing on stage while still seeming cohesive.
This was the first example that I thought of, lol (the song, not necessarily the perf). They consistently miss the ending "g" throughout the song which I thought was a bit ridic since its their intro song.
I occassionally hear "bang" but most of the time it's "ban/bam" current video included. I study linguistics/second language acquistion so I'm sort of hyper-aware of pronunciation when it comes to English.
This is easily one of their best photoshoots so far. Not only do the guys look good, but the photos themselves are beautiful.
Oh and why do I find that pic of GD with his hood up and hands in his pockets with that lip bite smile so freakin' adorable? He looks like a woodland creature from a Disney movie.
