-On the variety RUN, he sent a message to a cast mate that he was going to sleep at 7 p.m  and waking up at 5 a.m to meet-up to run, which prompted discussions about it.


-When he jokingly asks Kang Ki Young, if his wife said anything about him. Kang Ki Young replied:
“I’ve heard a lot of good things about you, to the point that it’s exhausting. I’ve heard you live a regulated life and are an upright person — those rumors have already spread. Ji Sung was surprised and asked if he’s really an upright person, and Kang Ki Young told him that he’s an example of an ideal husband."

-“There are a lot of times that she and I have different things we want, and explained that being unconditionally considerate of each other’s wishes is important."

-He mentions that his children are the greatest gift to him, and that he truly cherishes them.He also wears the characters of Anna and Elsa on his name tag, because it reminds him of his daughter who gives him strength to run.

-He used to drink alcohol to numb the pain and hard times he felt and went though when he was in his 20s. He quit drinking when he realized that it was no help towards himself nor his family.

-“Still, it was all futile. But now I have a wife and children, so I gain courage. I want to be with my wife for longer and I want to be healthy when I’m standing next to my children at their weddings and watch over them. A father has to be healthy to do things for his family.”

I've been watching run since they're airing it on TVN Asia. Hearing him talk about his family shows me how much family life changed him. And it made me respect him more. People looks up to celebrities and we need more good role models like him.

I wish we had a tvN Asia in the U.S but alas we have streaming/other ways to get it lol.

Is it a good variety show? I might watch that, he's a great actor and family man.

He and Kang Ha Neul give me the same warm/kind vibes. He talked about how his 20s were rough, and he lived homeless for a little while in his 20s. It wasn't until he met his wife and had kids where he says his life became better as a result. I'm glad that his marriage/kids have given him happiness. Big respect to him, and I'll follow whatever work he chooses next!

It's very relaxed kind of show. Something you would watch while chilling on a weekend. The reason I got drawn into the show is because of the lovely scenery and the interesting talks they have in between running.

Ah, so it's both showing the aspect of running and how it could be healing coupled with talks about life from the actors in between. It's a good synergy with all involved, I assume. Will put this on my watchlist!

absolutely!! ji sung's acting is outstanding in kill me heal me orz the whole cast was great. really, really enjoyed hwang jung-eum and the character she plays, oh ri jin, too. the story is suspenseful and charming until the end. more importantly, way they portrayed DID is quite realistic.

one of my top favorite rom-coms for sure.

I'm so glad that he received a Daesang (Grand Prize) for the role. Much deserved, I seen clips and 7 distinct personalities is no joke.

I'll put this on my watchlist. It's always nice when certain actors get recognized for their talents due to a role like this!

I'm all over my post LOL, I guess I shouldn't be all like praise/etc but considering SK's rampant drinking culture, I think its great that he quit drinking for the sake of his family, he did it b/c he wanted to and not b/c he was forced. He also quit smoking as well. I'm glad that he and his wife Lee Bo Young are happily married together, def. one of the rare ones in the entertainment industry.

i agree, i really respect them. obviously we don't know what's going on inside their house, but so far it looks fantastic and i highly respect people like him and yoo jae suk for example for quitting drinking AND smoking and pushing through to protect their families, no matter what, that's worth praise in a society that depends on drinking culture
i respect ppl who choose family over saving face

Yeah, of course marriage isn't going to be perfect but its nice when two people who are low-key and known for donating to children's hospitals, are nice people who truly love each other, which isn't easy to find I feel in the entertainment industry often.

It's admirable for sure, I think at the end of the day doing a decision that ultimately is better for their family is such a noble thing imo, than the stories of celebs cheating/marrying someone hotter/younger when they became big.
