Hi everyone!!! I haven't been around for awhile after being absolutely wrecked and destroyed by school (and I have a midterm at 9:30am - it's midnight atm) so I thought i'd pop in and mention how the SuperM (Vancouver) concert was!! It was this evening and my seats were right by the stage so I'm still mildly reeling. I hope everyone is having a good week, I've missed talking to you all <3

So I am definitely not very familiar with Super M's music at all and I'm not a big NCT fan so I was a little worried that I'd be bored, but one of my biggest regrets was not seeing EXO and SHINee when they did come to Van years ago so I decided to just go for it. tl'dr it was definitely worth it- seeing them in person was a crazy experience lol.

Highlights: TEN. My LORD. He is a) absolutely GORGEOUS in person and b) hands down one of the most captivating dancers I've seen come out of kpop. He is just as great live as he is in videos. He was also so vocally stable and so so attentive to fans- while the others were speaking he was constantly looking in the direction of our section and smiling.

Seeing Taemin was an extraordinary experience. His whole vibe was something else it was crazy- every move of his was so masterful and I was honestly in awe. He's a fantastic performer and his energy really reeled in the playfulness of Mark/Lucas/Taeyong so well. If anyone has the chance to see Taemin live, do it.

Mark/Lucas/Taeyong surprised me! They had great stage presence and were so so great at hyping the crowd up and vibing to the song. They looked super in their element and I was so impressed.

Tbh Baek and Kai (Kai especially) seemed a little tired. But Baek was super playful during the speaking portions and they brought their A-game for their solos. Kai is....unbearably good looking in person, wow. Baekhyun is also so much smaller in person than I thought he would be LOL

Overall, I had such a good time. I had great seats and despite not being able to sing along with most of the songs, It was definitely worth it. They were fantastic performers and it was well worth my time and money lol

I'm so happy to hear that Ten is just as great live as I thought he must be. I don't follow NCT at all, so I don't know if I would ever go out to my way to try and see them, but I'm starting to feel like he alone might be wprth the effort :O Maybe Sperm might even be the best option for me since Taemin is also there :O (Such revelations for me in the morning lol).

So, who's your early favourite from the February girl group comebacks?
Mine is GFriend, Crossroads is a good song, I FREAKING LOVE LABYRINTH and the rest of the mini-album is solid too.
I expected to like Loona's comeback more (it's... fine) but at least I'm really digging the bsides.

And who are you looking forward to now?
There's still Cherry Bullet, Rocket Punch, Dreamcatcher, IZ*ONE, Weki Meki... that's a lot lol.
I'm really looking forward to a full album of Dreamcatcher, and IZ*ONE's BLOOM*IZ sounded great on their preview so they would be my main ones, but I'm looking forward to all of them. January was lackluster for me but February is packed!

I learned abruptly that one of my aunts was in palliative care for a lung cancer - so really advanced stage and not much time left for her - and she has a really short "list" of persons who are allowed to visit/call her at the hospital (her daughters, one of her brothers) but my mom (who's her sister) wasn't one of them, which stressed us all out. Especially since it's the second sister among the siblings who went to the doctors too late and discovered a cancer ; the other sister spent only one month in the hospital before she left us :( it's a triggering situation for all of us.
I called my mom last Friday and she seemed to take the news as well as someone could in her situation.
Also my uncle gave my mom's number + a message my mom wrote during his visit last week, which seemed to move my aunt a lot. I haven't got many updates since but I think they were able to call each others.


So my boss was supposed to come back from her sick leave on Monday. She called one of my coworker saying that she's on her way to the doctor (she needs to be allowed by our work doctor to go back to work), then myself later in the afternoon. She's crazy lol. She told me that the work doctor "advised against coming back to work so soon" but that she was seeing a second doctor on Tuesday because "she needs to come back and take the lead on her cases". If the work doctor says she can't work, then she can't, that's simple. Annnnnnd on Tuesday late afternoon, my boss' boss sent a mail explaining that my boss had two more weeks of sick leave. I still had almost a panic attack from her phone call Monday (she was starting to ask for work updates and I cut it short) but hey, two weeks delay before I have to see her again? If she comes back then? Also we had a team meeting with my boss' boss and I have good feelings about it. So we'll see.


I've been using Loona's season greetings agenda, it's like a small binder so I can add pages if needed/turning it into a part-agenda, part-diary, part-bujo. I'm having so much fun lmao. Now I want to get more washi tape and cute stickers XD

Let's just say this week hasn't been good. One of those times where it's hard to see a point in anything.

But I've realized I really love going to the gym. Atm I just go once a week bc that's the time I get a cheaper lesson and with a PT. The price and being a total beginner is what made me reluctant in the past. I should prob eat more to give my muscles more energy to develop but it's kinda hard nowadays for some reason.

Parasite is finally released here, now I just need to go see it, tho my enthusiasm has kinda faded bc it's been so long, idk. I dislike going to see movies after seeing a lot of hype for it bc it's automatically shapes my expectations.

Things have been kinda busy, but trying to get through it. I just wish I got more sleep! Haha always tired.
MX’s English album, All About Luv, comes out next Friday! Please give it a listen if you can~ They’ve worked really hard on it and the songs released so far are some of my favorites. 🤗
Since it’ll be the last complete tour in a while, I snagged BTS tickets because I’ve never seen them and their shows seem enjoyable enough. I enjoy a lot of their music... I just hope the crowds won’t be overwhelming. 😩
Also.... I’m starting my second Korean textbook!!! It’s taken me so very long to get through the first one, but I did it!

I learned to crochet (properly) this past week. At the moment I'm making baby clothes because they're fast and easy and use the least amount of yarn. I have no idea what to do with them once they're ready, I have no family members or friends with babies. I'll have to ask if my cousin's kids still play with dolls.

I watched The Stranger and The Witcher last weekend (jfc Henry Cavill is hot, even if his wig looked quite tragic at times), during the week I watched 1,5 seasons of Berlin Station and this morning I woke up and saw that a new show called Locke and Key was added to Netflix! Jackson Robert Scott is super adorable and following his career makes me feel like a proud parent (even though I have absolutely no maternal instincts lmao).

Omona!!! I got BTS tickets the official way for the first time! I even I have an extra ticket for DC (because I panic bought the first ticket that didn’t disappear when I clicked it and then went back through the queue and got a silver soundcheck ticket).

Which leads to a question about selling tickets, which I’ve never done before. I have a potential buyer who’s a friend of a friend. When people charge “face value,” do they mean the official price or the price + Ticketmaster’s ridiculous fees? I’d like to recover as much of the money as possible without being a dick.

Anyway, shoutout to the ARMY presale and the new bigwig at work who caused my meeting on Wednesday to be postponed and my job for giving me the salary I asked for. This has been the pick me up I needed, to the point where I bought a Saturday NJ ticket to. Might make a NYC trip of it if work isn’t too busy and I have enough money come May.

We got tickets to BTS LA D1 and D2 !! So excited to see them again, it's always a blast. Though I will say the pricing is getting ridiculous, if BH keeps this up we'll probably start going to 1 day only. It's going to be weird seeing them in USA for the first time, I wonder if the atmosphere is going to be wildly different from Europe.

Hi omona!

This week has been busy. At work we have a new workroom so I’ve been able to go shopping to decorate it. Pretty fun. Highlight is my boss letting me panic and get BTS tickets while on the clock lmao.

This is the very first BTS concert I where I actually bought tickets from Ticketmaster. I know people had some technical issues but honestly I think this was the most efficient and effective way to sell tickets and lower bots. I’m got the Chicago Saturday show (floor seats 😭) but I’m going to try and get the Chicago Friday night show and I don’t care where I sit as long as my section is lit as hell. Now I just need to plan the perfect concert outfits.

I’m once again in the process of looking for jobs. I don’t want to leave my position but I’m ready for other things. Now that my parents immigration paperwork is finally gone through I don’t have to help out as much as I usually do. Small blessings in these trying times tbh.

I got nosebleeds for BTS in Toronto on Sunday. I'd rather get one of those seats than a floor seats because BTS is not my favourite group and I'm already seeing MCR in september so I'm poor rn XD. I just hope one day, kpop groups will come to Montreal and I'll stop driving 6+ hours to see them. I think we only got Hyuna and A.C.E a few years ago.

I got soundcheck for Bts at Soldier Field 😭 one gold and one silver 🤟🏼.I’m so glad they did the Army membership presale. Ticketing was so much easier this time around. Everyone that also got tickets I hope you have a good time!!! Please be aware that getting back to your home or hotel after the concert is going to be a hassle. Wear comfortable shoes!!!
