like vintage_boom said, they like the idols to pose with them so they can take pictures. it's strange (and slightly unsettling) to me but it's definitely an extremely common thing

According to the security team, there will be no major problems if it is put in a carrier or consigned baggage. However, the security search team can check and pass it without search if there are no major problems.
