-"When asked if being able to show a different appearance was an important factor in deciding his next project, he responded, “Anyone can play someone tall and good-looking. Rather than that, I want to discover myself while acting in a world I haven’t experienced.”

-“Search: WWW’ was a project that allowed me to mature in another way as an actor. There were some aspects that I felt were lacking, but I’m grateful to have met such a character in my 20s.”

-“I don’t read too much into turning 30. Time will continue to pass anyway.”

-Loves the films Mulan and Toy Story, and likes to listen to the OSTs of it when he runs.

-Turned down a role that went to Park Bo Gum :( in Age of Youth (new Drama with Park So-Dam), but is starring in a new show "Born Again" later this year!

I love him and his acting, he’s really good at showing emotion.

But to go from Lee Sung Kyung’s delivery boyfriend in It’s Okay That’s Love to being lead in so many great pieces...good for him. I didn’t particularly care about him in Search WWW bc my focus was on the ladies, but I liked that his character was in the background. I also loved him in Come and Hug Me and Go Back Couple.

All that to say, I will watch his new drama. I do need to watch the one with him and Nana tho.

He is underrated, partially b/c he started out as a model but also b/c he's too attractive lol.

His rise in 4 years since Love has been astounding. He went from that cameo to Come and Hug Me where he amazed me with his acting. He has a year or two before army :( But him turning down that role in Age of Youth which was a model show about modeling, for a show in a diff. genre bodes well for his career.

Kill it was good, but I got spoiled on the ending :/ But its 12 episodes and if you want hot shirtless moments and action with brooding looks, then its ok.

That sounds exactly like what I want, action with brooding looks. For real tho I have been meaning to start watching Nana’s works, I love her and want to support her too. I guess that’s what I’ll do this weekend!

I didn’t realize he hasn’t gone to the army yet. In most actors’ cases I feel like the army just makes them come back as a more in-demand actor so I think he’ll be ok. He’s prob gonna pack in everything he can until then!

Its 12 episodes I believe, and on Viki for free w/ ads. Not horrible per say, so you'll be able to watch it w/o cringing. The action is well done! Plus he's a vet in the show!

Some actors go before they get famous, but its always catch 22 with that. Since some come back bigger/while some fail/lose their popularity. I hope he chooses wisely when he does make a comeback.

Yeah he has a good year left (he's 27) before he enlists. I hope he chooses well, so it leaves him on a good footing. Hope the next drama does well!

I haven't seen a lot of his projects, but I really like him from what I've seen. He's had a great rise the last few years. I was excited about his new drama and the return of Lee Soo Hyuk and the fact that they'd be rivals but then they had to cast Jin Se Yeon as the female lead and I'm not pleased about that.
