I was sort of checked out of rpdr and only going to distantly pay attention to s12 and then one of the queens basically cosplayed Paine from FFX-2 in the catwalk promo and now I guess I have to watch the whole thing, we stan.

I also learned a cute thing about Weki Meki! Apparently when they divide into 'Weki/Meki' units the hangul actually changes and they're 윗키 (witki) 믹키 (mitki - less sure of the hangul on that one) which is basically upki/downki because one is the tols and one is the smols. That had me grinning all day tbh. I wonder if that's actually where the name came from lol.

I’m so jealous, one of my mutuals posted on twitter yesterday that Itzy came to their work!! They wished them good luck on their concert and their boss manager to sneak a pick far away. Apparently at first they thought it was vloggers or something but they saw cameras and lots of ppl taking pics iirc.

I have to work tonight and tomorrow as it’s my departments crunch time and this is gonna be my life for the next month 😔 I get paid OT since I’m hourly but honestly I would rather sleep in and have my peace of mind LMAO. At least my Loona seasons greetings is coming today!!

So Everglow’s general admission is $45. I guess that isn’t too bad for a foreign artist, 12 songs plus some covers I’m assuming. I really like them but I’m not ready to do a VIP ticket, so I’m not interested in any of the $100+ tickets. I’ll have to think about it, should I go now or wait till they come next time.

back again with work rant. my boss still hasn’t approved my leave yet cause it coincides with a big event and i’m the person in charge. i have 2 person to cover for me and yet still she won’t approve. and also i feel like she’s trying to make my job more difficult. she normally responds quickly to my email/message but now she ignores it. she kinda gave me attitude on our last meeting. i know i should confront her and explain the situation but kinda scared that she still won’t change her mind about my leave cause she’s hardheaded.

I’m trying not to obsess over these BTS tickets. Does anybody have thoughts about how the verified fan stuff will affect resale? I was trying to tell myself I’d just be a dick and pay the scalpers (this reduces my anxiety—I have literally never succeeded in getting a ticket through the regular sales) because the show being in my metropolitan area means I don’t need a hotel and travel money, but now I don’t know if resale availability will be at all like the last few concerts or if prices will be even worse.

To make matters worse, I have a meeting when the army presale happens, so even if I’m selected for the presale it might not work out.

I switched from apple music to spotify last week after 5 years. I calculated how much I've spent on that and uhhhhhh I could've bought a brand new phone or computer with that money >:O Anyway some random thoughts as a result of that shuffle after your playlist is done function:

- Without the rap part, Dumb Dumb would be in the hall of fame for pop perfection, but it's so bad it actually takes me out of the song.
- I'm the kind of person who can tolerate almost any music, even if I don't like it, I rarely ever skip, but something gawd awful came on while I was on the bus, and I checked to see wtf it was and it was a Jackson Wang solo lololol :( One of the worst things I've heard. Don't remember the name of the song which is worrying.
- Why is the whisper parts in Baby Don't Stop....... without that, it could be greatness? Re: the whispering, stop just stop (joke fail).

I'm kind of the same as you, have stronger associations with other years. Last rat year I lived in Japan and was told rat years are like this and this, which had no connection to what relatives and such had taught me growing up lol (for example that people born in rat years are universally likable, when I thought it was supposed to be a quiet awkward type). So basically, I really don't know, not even what I thought I did back then!

I remember some LOONA songs disappeared from Spotify, I didn’t know they came back!? I saw my playlist song count jump up and I’m like huh, I didn’t save any songs in the last hour??? And then a Loona song I haven’t heard in a minute played and I think the songs that were missing are back!?

I started watching it yesterday and got surprisingly hooked (not done yet so no spoilers!)
The concept is surprisingly good imo.

edit: Ok I watched it all now OMG but I'm glad this person won! (the last ep with the host was a little cringe tho imo and had to actually skip thru a lot of it)

Tho now I heard there's a UK version that came out first that's supposedly better, so now I'm on the hunt to binge that one as well to compare lol.

Happy Lunar NY!! Have a good weekend omona. I'm spending it prepping for a grant meeting I have on monday, I need to redo all my accounting :/ and edit 2 projects BUT I just have $3500 away from my Q1 sales goal and its only week 3 of the year. I'm shook cuz last January was so dead for me and this goal was pretty big (50% of what I made last year in the first 3 months).

Looking forward to Loona's comeback and Everglow! Jan had some good BG comebacks so I hope Feb has great ones for the ladies.

Happy Friday and LNY everyone!

It's been a weird week freaking out about BTS / getting tickets for London 😭 last time we had to get them through resale due to the ticketing frenzy and it was a horrible experience so I'm worried about it again lol, hopefully knowing we can do resale will reduce some of the anxiety/stress this time around.

My wife's applying to do her master's over here so I've been helping her sort all that stuff out instead of applying for jobs so I need to get on top of that next week since she's pretty much got everything now!
