no it's very different

Joy's disorder is when you get physical illness because of mental disorders. for example being extremely anxious and stressed and it causing physical illness

hypochondria is anxiety for illness, which is very different

It means that her anxiety takes a huge tool on her body from what I know. The exhaution or the symptons come directly from her stress. It's the way her mind communicates and says it's too much: it's through her body. I would totally tell her to do yoga or meditation tbh. Anger is hard to deal with it when you don't put it out. It gangrenes the body in a weird way depending the person.

But it's not something particular, a lot of people somatize and they don't know about it. It's not easy but you have to listen to your body first since you don't really listen to your mental here. Then - and that's very important otherwise the symptons are not going to go away - you have to understand what you are somatizing.
