Though tbh I feel like Gfriend and Lovelyz need a special release because even though I still love their music (!!! Just getting this disclaimer out there lol), I’m not particularly excited? It’s hard to describe. I’d like to see a comeback that exceeds my expectations of what they normally put out. Like Apink did this really well, I’d love to see it from these two groups as well

Butttttt if I get another song like Memoria/Sunrise/TftMN, I’ll be a content fan regardless 😊

I loved That Day, I feel like Lovelyz met my expectations then (but not exceded like they did with Destiny). I love what they've released since but I agree there's not the same sense of excitement. I think they'll try for something a little different than what they usually do for their next comeback, Queendom was all about trying new concepts, but it didn't really worked out for them (getting in the show while working on their concert at the same time was not good timing in my opinion), so I feel like they'll still want to prove themselves.

About GFriend, I feel like Fever was their attempt at something new? Video aesthetics, music genre and song progression, even the stage outfits were pretty different. Fever grew on me a lot but I think it was too trendy in sound, too late, hence not as impactful as Fingertip infamously was (Fingertip was so amazing).
Let's see how Bighit's money impacts this comeback

Yes. another Fingertip would be amazing. We should have had Fingertip and then Fever. I love the girls but I get bored with the Sunrise/TFTMN/Memoria sound.

Yes queens! I ended up kinda liking Fever, but my favorites from them are happy songs like MGT and Navillera rather than the somewhat ~sad~ ones they did more recently like Sunrise and TFTMN. I would love for them to go for a happy/cheery title track that is not too cutesy and suits them as they mature, maybe like Flower.

This is gonna be their first release after Source becomes part of Big Hit right? I wonder how that will affect the concepts, if creative director Min Hee Jin (ex SM) will have a hand in it, etc.

i hope the bighit money improves their sound n stages/mv/etc. i liked gfriend since the start but everything got repetitive (still good! just repetitive).

I'm so excited about it!!! Loved Time for Us, Fever Season a little less but it was still a great era for them. Curious about how their first comeback under the Bighit umbrella will look like too!
