T-ara performed their hits Bo Peep Bo Peep and Like the First Time at the V-Star League volleyball game presented by Nonghyup Bank.

This was Soyeon’s first performance with the group after recovering from the H1N1 virus. While the girls looked great as always, the appearance was met with some controversy over the sexy dancing and short skirts in a family setting. “The skirts were much too short. They have to think about the families and children coming to this game.” one reporter said.

Seriously, without calling it to my attention, I wouldn't have noticed the short dresses.

How is it any different than usual? Please, spectators, put down your crotch binoculars and enjoy the show instead. That has been the choreography for this song the entire time, and now people have a problem with it?

I am anger :|

it's not their fault really.

first of all, i'm sure the organizers have seen their performances and if they were not okay with the outfits maybe they could have asked the management that they wore the cute outfits instead of the sexy ones, but anyway, they also knew what their dances are like.

if they wanted something innocent and not suggestive at all they should have invited another group, like... snsd.

oh wait..

I really didn't think they were that short, except for maybe Eunjung's...
It's not like they haven't seen girls wear short shorts/skirts walking down the street. -_-

I think the reporter is a bit of a perv if he found the preformeance to be so overly sexy. he probably would liken american football cheerleaders to strippers.

Um, the V League is a professional league of adult teams. I doubt hundreds of little toddlers flock to these volleyball games. But still, it is somewhat a management failure. Oh, I get it, the 99% of the time that your audience is teens and adults, wear kiddie clothes including fuzzy animal paws. The 1% where your audience might contain families with kids, wear glitter dresses and thigh high boots. Their stage director or management needs some serious help. When management fucks up, it's the artists that pay. Just look at what's happening to CN Blue.

but when the management gets it right, it's the artists that get the pay off, too.

so...when management goes wrong, the replies are always, "don't blame the artists! it's not their fault!"

when the management gets it right, the replies are always, "OMG, i love this song, _____ are so amazing!!"

not hating on t-ara or even giving anything constructive here, just pointing it out.

“The skirts were much too short. They have to think about the families and children coming to this game.”

If that was a problem, they wouldn't have been invited to perform. And no kid will be traumatized by watching girls in short skirts. Ugly short skirts.

From: [identity profile] pyramidsonmars.livejournal.com
lol @ overly sexy. Ya. Whatever. They didn't choose the length of the dress. Its not like Bo Peep and Like The First Time are innocent songs anyway.

suck it up. should have invited someone else.

Not "Bo peep"?
Mmmk, Korea.

Btw, I bet if SNSD came in their barely there "Oh" outfits you'd have been okay with that.
