I'm glad I watched this, and that we got to see that a lot of characters were more than just cardboards. I did NOT like IJH's character at first, but he ended up being a interesting character, even as the writing fell through on him in spots. SSH did a great job, and the writers did a great job of his character, showing us how he became someone who just wanted to win, to why he wanted the best for the kids.

I have some quibbles, I could have done without the redemption of the our two shit fathers. I could have done without them hand waving away of a gambling addiction because suddenly he realized his kids loved another man? And I think it's bs that IJH, not SSH, won the election, because I think it's implausible that he would have. I get that we want to watch striver SSH more, except I could have watched him strive as a politician. He earned that win, so it felt cheap on the writer's part.

Also, some confirmation of the romantic relationship would have been nice, and I don't mean ChickenDad's agreement to marriage.

In closing: Tak and Ahjusshi!
