thankful that I don't have a twitter to see nonsense like those trends. must be trashy for the members themselves to see because I know they at least vaguely monitor this stuff.

to be fair I think that most criticism of this group is valid. and just because you like each member's individual groups does not mean you have to like superm. Does that mean you're allowed to aggressively condemn the members you don't like and the group? No.

I don't like the release at all but would I go see them in concert if given the chance? 100%. I can ignore 4 songs that I hate in favor of a 3 hour concert with no issue.

i was pretty much one of those people trending the disband hashtag shdjfj.

i was angry & bitter at everything about this group until i saw Jongin in the MV i cried he looks so fine and then everything just happened so fast, exols on my timeline changed their stance 180 degrees.

i have accepted that exo will never get this amount of promotion and hype from their shitty company, but kaibaek is in this group and i will never can ignore or boycott them. kaibaek sweeties.. i will support u no matter what bcs i'm an exo trash.

There are some valid concerns as described in the article, but some fans assuming that their faves were forced to do this by SM against their will and must be seething inside simply because they themselves do is laughable. I'm sure each of the members has their own ideas on the directions they want their careers to go, but they are being called the best of the best in the company, their groups and even the whole genre -- that's a huge ego boost right there lol.

Plus some of them have been friends forever (TaeKai), some of them trained and debuted together but haven't worked together for a while (MarkYongTenCas), some have a soft spot for their juniors (TaeTen), etc. I'm just excited for these interactions and I hope they spend some good bonding time together in between the packed schedules. Will they play beer pong in their rented house like NCT did in New York? I'm anticipating.

For me it just didn't sound that great but it's not bc of the singers themselves. I'm sticking with my nugu groups, at least they'll never disappoint me.

Luckily my twt tl is full of normal human beings so I've not seen most of this drama unless I've gone specifically into the SuperM tag. Ppl on my tl who don't like the songs or aren't keen on the group just.. have discussions about it and then move on cos it's no big deal?? haha
So much energy to spend on something you hate, what's the point...
